How To Get The Animal Hospital Tiny Anomaly

My fellow Minecraft veterans will know that appearances can be deceptive when it comes to baby-variant enemies. Still, this hasn’t yet deterred players from wondering how to get the Animal Hospital Tiny Anomaly to appear during their shifts. Fortunately, I’ve been playing the update, enjoying the new content, and have an answer.

How To Get The Animal Hospital Tiny Anomaly

Whilst some Anomalies seem to have loosely shift-aligned schedules, the Tiny Anomaly can appear at random during any shift. They will wander into the hospital and request a check-in. If allowed, they’ll begin chasing around the nearest player and biting them, similarly to a mimic.

Currently, ALL tiny visitors are anomalies. Perhaps this will change in the future to include children patients and tiny anomalies.

What Do Tiny Anomalies Look Like?

Each Tiny Anomaly has a shorter build than all other visitors; they’re also commonly pink rabbits with three eyes, though sometimes present other anomalous features.

How To Defeat a Tiny Anomaly

Ideally, you want to refuse them service at reception by closing the shutters. They, like other anomalies pretending to be patients, will leave if turned away, or will remain calm until checked in if your party is lax on letting anomalies enter.

As soon as they get their name card, the Tiny Anomaly will then chase after the player closest to them, biting them and draining their sanity similarly to a Mimic. The player can press buttons to try and free themselves of the Tiny Anomaly and run, or can tase or shoot them to instantly defeat them.

Does Feeding Them To Bed Monsters Work?

I know this definitely works for Hiders, but I haven’t had the chance to check if this works for Tiny Anomalies, as I haven’t had both spawn at the same time just yet. However, I’ll update this as soon as I find out, so be sure to check back if you’re curious for the answer.

Does the Tiny Anomaly have a Journal entry?

Yes! It’s not in the main Anomaly Journal, but if you encounter and check one in, you’ll earn 1x Animal Coins from the achievements page. Not overly generous, but this isn’t all that threatening of an encounter.
