Anime Last Stand is a tower defense Roblox game that features a wide range of units to collect. What are these units, you ask? Anime characters! Yep, every unit in the game is based on an anime character from your favourite franchises. Obtain the strongest units in the game and place them in your defenses, as they wield their unique traits and techniques against your opponents.

In Anime Last Stand, Shards are used to obtain Techniques for your units. If you’re not too sure how Techniques work in the game, have a read of our Anime Last Stand Techniques guide. Think of Techniques as a buff that you can give to your units – they’re pretty important, especially for the harder modes and challenges! You need 1 Shard to roll for a Technique.
The main way to get Shards is by completing quests. To check your quests, click the ‘Quests’ button to the left of your screen. As of right now, this pop-up window is full of Story missions – though there could be daily and weekly missions in the future! The amount of Shards you get per quest varies, but they seem to range between 1 and 4. From the looks of it, not every quest rewards you with Shards either.
If you can’t be bothered grinding out the quests, you can always spend Robux to purchase Shards. To do this, head to the Techniques area in the main lobby and approach the NPC to open the pop-up window. You can see the Shard bundles and how many Robux they cost on the right side.
