Discover the secrets of the new Kitty Bats in Adopt Me with this ultimate guide to the spooky Halloween update! In this guide, I’ll walk you through the fun and thrilling Kitty Bat minigame and share the tips and tricks you need to win their hearts, so you can adopt one for yourself!

Start pet collecting over on Roblox.

How To Get Kitty Bats in Adopt Me

Kitty Bats spawn on the 17th and 47th minute of every hour. For example, 11:17 and 11:47. They fly in a swarm circle beside the Headless Horseman NPC, found over the bridge past the Pet Shop (at Adoption Island).

To tame them, you need to hold a Yarn Apple whilst standing still inside their spawn ring and wait for a Kitty Bat to approach you. This then triggers a minigame where you have to click when the Yarn Apple is in the centre of the slide bar, on top of the Kitty Bat icon.

Taming them isn’t immediate, and you’ll need to routinely do this minigame to get your Kitty Bat.

  • Perfect Yarn Ball feeding: +20% progress to adoption
  • Good Yarn Ball feeding: +10% progress to adoption
    • Inside the zone, but not exact.
  • Poor Yarn Ball feeding: +5% progress to adoption
    • Outside of the zone entirely

At 100% progress, you’ll adopt your very own Kitty Bat! Each player can only have 1 per account, so if you want a neon, you’ll need to trade for the remainder or grind on alt accounts.

Yarn Apples Obtainment

Yarn Apples hail from the Trick or Treat bags, which you earn through completing 50 or more doors during the new minigame. When opening Treat Bags, you have an 8% chance to get x1 Yarn Apple, or a 2% chance to get x3 Yarn Apples.

However, you’ll also receive a freebie Yarn Apple in your Mailbox just for logging in during the Halloween Event! So, make sure to head to your home and claim it before the season expires.
