Despite its outward appearance, Palworld is as much about putting together the perfect base as it is about capturing cute creatures. In order to do so, you’re going to need to know how to get Ancient Civilization Parts in Palworld.
Palworld is a survival game in which you can catch creatures known as Pals and put them to work. Some of the more useful items in the game, such as the Egg Incubator, fall under the ‘Ancient Technology’ category. To craft them, you’ll need to get your hands on Ancient Civilization Parts. Read on to learn how to do so.

There are two ways to get Ancient Civilization Parts in Palworld. We’ll cover both of them below.
Alpha Pals are more powerful versions of regular Pals, distinguished by their increased size and red names/health bars. You can find them roaming in set locations in the overworld, as well as at the end of dungeons. They’re significantly more powerful than the regular versions of the Pals they represent and can be seriously challenging if you’re unprepared.
They’re well worth the trouble, however. Each time you defeat, or catch, an Alpha Pal, you’ll receive 1-2 Ancient Civilization Parts. Alpha Pals in the overworld respawn every in-game hour, so travelling between a few of them in a loop is a good way to farm for Ancient Civilization Parts. If you’re struggling against them, try catching a Pal with a type advantage against a particular Alpha.
Another way to get Ancient Civilization Parts in Palworld is to open chests. Chests are found throughout the game, in both the overworld and dungeons. They spawn in randomly, so you can’t really plan around them, but you should open every one you see.
Each time you do, you have a chance of receiving some Ancient Civilization Parts. Unlike the Alpha Pals method, this doesn’t guarantee you any Ancient Civilization Parts, so it’s much worse for farming. It can be a nice way to supplement your total, however, so don’t count it out entirely.
