How to Get All Starter Tanorians in Tales of Tanorio

If you’re familiar with the Pokemon franchise, you know how the starter system works! It works the same in Tales of Tanorio, but there’s also a way to get all of the starter Tanorians in your team. All starters can evolve into larger, more powerful beings, and they each have their own Type.

Your First Starter

When you first start the game, you can choose your starter. The 3 options are Rabush, Chewaqua, and Charcile. Rabush is a Grass Type Tanorian, Charcile is a Fire Type, and Chewaqua is a Water Type – familiar, huh? There’s no ‘best’ starter, as it all depends on which Type you prefer, and which starter you find the cutest (at least in my opinion!).

Unlocking All Starters

Now that you have your first starter to help you through the beginning of the game, you may want the rest of them. Who could resist their adorableness? Ahem, anyway, you need to be level 15 if you want to collect the other 2 starters. Additionally, you must have at least 1 Stadium Badge as well.

Head to any Tano Station and interact with the shopkeeper. Once you hit level 15, the Strong Incense and Conservation Incense items are available to purchase. These 2 items cost 250 Robux, which is a bit of an issue if you’re free-to-play. The one you need is Conservation Incense!

Keep an eye on the in-game chat, as commands appear that read along the lines of ‘An incense is attracting rare Tanorians in ____’. The latter part of the command details which area this incense has been used in. When this happens, quickly travel to that area to find more starters.

What is Conservation Incense?

This item increases the chance of starter Tanorians spawning, which means you can easily obtain the other 2 you don’t have. Again, this costs 250 Robux, so make sure you definitely want all of the starters before you make this purchase! Keep in mind that the starter Tanorians are notorious for being difficult to catch with a Tanocan, so make sure you either have a strong Tanocan, or a powerful team.

What is Strong Incense?

When using Strong Incense, it activates for the route that you are currently on. In short, it spawns additional Tanorians across the route, as well as making encounters happen a lot more frequently.

The Strong Incense doesn’t increase the chances of a starter Tanorian spawning, but with additional Tanorians appearing, some of them may be starters! In fact, this item’s effect works for every single player that is on that route at that time, making it perfect for when you’re playing with friends.
