As utopias go, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is a pretty nice one. There’s no war, disease or famine, and people get along with anthropomorphic animals just fine.

There’s even a barter-based economy so no one ever goes without, or so it seems. But for you, the player, currency is still needed, and the best kind in the game is called Leaf Tickets. Used primarily to speed up tasks like crafting, Leaf Tickets can be purchased for real money through in-app purchases, but Pocket Camp is also pretty liberal about allowing you to earn them while playing.

How do you do that? Well, we wouldn’t title an article “How to Earn Leaf Tickets in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp” without giving you some answers. Honest.

Complete Your Stretch Goals

That’s right: stretch goals aren’t just for Kickstarter any more. Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp offers both Timed Goals, which are objectives you need to complete in a certain amount of time (perhaps obviously, but we’d rather spell it out for you), and Stretch Goals that you can knock out on your own schedule.

Not every Stretch Goal gives you Leaf Tickets, but many of them do. Some are as simple as connecting your Nintendo Account to the game or making your first in-game friend. Many others are cumulative, paying out after you’ve collected a number of the same item or placed several pieces of the same type of furniture at your campsite.

To see which Stretch Goals you are close to completing for Leaf Tickets, just tap the dog icon on the right-hand side of the main screen, or tap ‘More’ on the bottom nav bar and then tap on ‘Goals.’

Level Up and Cash In

Another way to earn Leaf Tickets is to raise your player level, as every time you do, part of the reward is Leaf Tickets. You’ve likely figured this out on your own if you’ve played Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp for any length of time, but you can level up by raising the happiness levels of any animal, which in turn earns you progress toward your own next level.

Play Pocket Camp Every Day

Maybe a bit of a broken record here, eh? We’ve told you before but it bears repeating that any mobile game worth its salt hands out daily rewards just for logging in. Animal Crossing is no exception, handing out Leaf Tickets among other helpful goodies.

As well, during the soft launch, Pocket Camp featured an additional promotional login bonus that also included Leaf Tickets. Given the fact that Nintendo promised a variety of seasonal updates and events once the game is launched worldwide, we can logically assume that more of these promos are coming. That makes it even more important to at least check in briefly every day as it may help you rack up Leaf Tickets that much faster,
