The Scissor Woman is a terrifying boss in World of Horror who is based on a popular Japanese urban legend – but how do you beat her in-game?
The Scissor Woman is a boss in World of Horror. Specifically, a boss that you need to defeat during the Spine-Chilling Story of School Scissors storyline. She has long black hair and 3 heads connected together.
Each head is on its side, with a total of 4 eyes and 3 mouths, as a long bloody line runs between each mouth. This creature wields sharp scissors that are used to cut a similar line onto her victim’s face – or it will kill them. The Scissor Woman can appear at random before suddenly disappearing, making it a highly dangerous entity.
In terms of combat, the Scissor Woman has a special skill that allows her to cut your face. The “Slit Face” debuff will deal double damage after she cuts your face with her scissors, whilst also decreasing your STR and CHR by 1 point. With World of Horror being a turn-based game, you need to make sure you perform the correct ritual during your turn. There are two versions of the Scissor Woman, with the ‘Scissor Woman (Horror)’ enemy being considerably stronger.
The standard Scissor Woman has 10 HP and 7 power less than the Horror version, making her HP a total of 20. She’s actually the weakest boss in the entire game, but it can be a little tricky to beat her if you’re not used to the game just yet. If you beat Scissor Woman (Horror), you’ll earn the Cursed Scissors weapon – a highly sought-after weapon!
For the Horror version of the Scissor Woman to appear, you’ll need to incorrectly perform the ritual.
