Experience Abstraction is getting a bit of attention as a pretty good TADC Roblox fan game, in part because it has a really nice map, and in part because of all The Horrors. The game has its own Abstraction mechanic that lets you lose yourself and degrade into a twisted neon-eyed abomination… as long as you figure out how to do it. Lucky for you, we’ve spent some time checking out all the different methods so we can inform you on how to Abstract in Experience Abstraction.

How To Abstract In Experience Abstraction

Basically, there are three different ways to abstract in Experience Abstraction. All involve doing about the same thing, that is running down your Sanity bar, which you’ll find in the bottom-left of the screen. Some ways are easier, and some are a bit more difficult.

Darkness – The Simplest Way

Darkness is the simplest way, because you can more or less accomplish it straight from the start. Go to a dark area, like behind the stage where you spawn, and wait. Your sanity should start to tick down after a while. It’s fairly slow, but will eventually tick down to the bottom. The downside of doing this in the public areas is that you can be interrupted and wiped out by Abstracted players that are often prowling around the main area. We also found this kind of tricky to trigger when we tried it, by the stage, possibly due to too many players being closeby. The best place we found was inside the blue castle


Isolation – The Most Foolproof Way

This is probably the least risky way, though does mean doing a little bit of work beforehand. With this method, you’ll need to find you room by heading into the hallway on the upper floor. Find the door with your avatar on it and head inside. Shut the door, and hit the switch next to the door to turn off the light. Then, wait. This may take a little while to kick in, but after a short time of hiding along in your room, your Sanity meter should start to drop.

When you get the prompt ‘I don’t feel well…’ head over to your bed. You should find a prompt to interact with it to sleep which doesn’t happen at any other time. Do this and the game will treat you to a surreal cutscene, then boom: Abstracted. Don’t worry, you can get out through your own door into the corridor, you aren’t stuck in your room.


Abstracted Entities – The Risky Way

This last one is probably the one people notice first… but it’s actually one of the harder ones to pull off unless you’ve got some cooperation from other players. Standing near to an Abstracted player will drop your Sanity fairly quickly, and will eventually lead to Abstraction. The issue with it?

First, your Sanity goes back up really fast if you aren’t close to the Abstracted creature for any length of time.

Second, Abstracted players can wipe you out, which will send you back to the spawn point with full Sanity again. This can be by accident, because contact with them will damage you, but it’s also often on purpose. Many Abstracted players will actively attack non-Abstracted ones. In testing this I once got to the Abstraction changing sequence, only to get killed mid-transformation by one of the Abstracted players repeatedly stomping me while I was locked in the animation. Rude. :(. So, this method is entirely doable, but it might be better done with the help of a friend, or maybe asking another player if you have chat access.
