Welcome to the walkthrough for House M.D. on Gamezebo. House M.D. is a medical adventure game for PC from Legacy Games. This walkthrough includes tips and tricks, helpful hints, and a strategy guide on how to complete House M.D.

General Information

Main Menu

Play: Start the game with the currently selected profile.
Episodes: Read a summary about the current episode. Episodes that have been completed can be selected and played again in free play mode.
Profiles: Select, edit the name and delete profiles from the list. The profiles show the progress that has been made on the current chapter.
Options: Adjust sound and music volume. Toggle between full screen and windowed mode. View the cast of characters and the game credits.
Quit: Exit the game with Yes or return to the main menu with No.

How to Play

Each of the five chapters in this game are made up of numerous modules. This section identifies what needs to be done in some of these modules.
Examinations: Up to four locations can be examined on each patient: The head, chest, abdomen and legs. Once a location has been examined, a close-up view will be shown with flashing targets to indicate where symptoms are found. There are four tools on the tray: Glove, torch, magnifying glass and stethoscope. The aim in these examinations is to use the correct tools from the tray on all of the symptoms. When the correct tool has been found, click and hold on the symptom until the gauge moves past the green zone.
Questions: At certain points within the chapter you will need to select the correct question to ask from a list of three questions.
Find the diagnosis: A series of diagnosis words will move around the screen, and the aim is to select the correct diagnosis word for the current stage of the investigation. The first few words that are added to the board will normally not be the correct diagnosis, so just keep finding the diagnosis words until the correct one is found.
Follow the directions: In certain mini-games such as when drawing blood or using the blood analyzer, directions are presented on screen which need to be followed. The directions usually involve picking up an object and using it somewhere else, or pressing buttons in the correct order.
Find the objects: You will occasionally need to search locations in the game in order to find a number of items. Some locations can be scrolled by moving the mouse to the edges of the screen, while other locations are fixed. Move the mouse cursor around the screen and click items that are identified with a red outline. When a close-up of an object is shown, click and hold on the highlighted square to take a sample.
Find the differences: Two screens will occasionally be shown side by side with minor differences that need to be found. Click on the differences in either screen to highlight them, and find all of the differences in order to complete the module.
The modules listed above are the most common ones in the game and appear in nearly every chapter. Other modules include include jigsaws where pieces must be rotated and placed in the correct positions, tile puzzles where tiles have to be swapped to form an image, and mazes where an object has to be dragged through halls without touching any people.

Walkthrough: Episode 1 – Globetrotting

Examine Henry

Click Henry’s head. Select the glove and move it over the target
Hold the left mouse button down until the needle on the gauge moves past green. Put the glove back on the tray and then back away from the view. Examine Henry’s chest and use the correct tools on the targets:
Again, make sure that the left mouse button is held down after using each tool until the needle on the gauge moves past green. When prompted, the correct questions to ask are Recent Diet and Sudden Collapse. Examine Henry’s legs and use the magnifying glass on the correct location:

Find the Diagnosis

You now need to find the diagnosis that matches the words that move about on the screen. Letters are gradually revealed as time passes. The words to find are shown below:

Draw Blood

Blood now needs to be drawn for testing. Eric will prompt you at various stages throughout this section.
Start by picking up the tourniquet from the tray and using it on the upper arm:
Click and drag the strap of the tourniquet to the right. Move the fingers of the glove over the location indicated by the arrow and keep clicking quickly until the vein is shown.
Pick up the alcohol swab from the tray and keep moving it over the vein until the area is clean.
Pick up the butterfly needle and use it on the vein:
Drag the needle upwards. Pick up the tourniquet and drop it back on the tray. Pick up the vial and use it on the end of the butterfly needle:
Click the filled vial to put it back on the tray. Fill the remaining four vials and put them back on the tray as well.
Remove the butterfly needle.
Pick up a bandage from the tray and use it on the insertion site:
Click and drag the cursor to the left to apply the bandage.

Bronchoscopy

The aim in the next section is to click the directional arrows to find anomalies in the bronchi. There are four parts of the bronchi to examine, with eight anomalies in each part. The time limit is also reduced with each section. A certain number of anomalies must be found or else you will need to repeat the section again.

Centrifuge

Move the mouse cursor to the middle of the centrifuge and start moving the cursor in a circular motion. The aim is to spin the centrifuge so that the bar on the left remains within the green zone until the progress bar is full:

Spin motors A and B by holding down the left mouse cursor over them and moving in a circular motion until both gauge indicators are in the green zone.

Intubation

Use the laryngoscope on the tongue.
Click and drag the laryngoscope down.
Pick up the tube and use it on the larynx:
Pick up the laryngoscope and put it back on the tray.
Pick up the ambu and use it on the end of the tube.
Follow the crosshairs in the arrow to pump the ambu:

The dial will turn to the numbers identified on the bottle, and after it has finished spinning each bottle will receive an up arrow if it needs a higher number, a down arrow if it needs a lower number and a tick if the correct number has been used.

When the numbers are equal, click the paddle button.

Round 3: 390 – 30 – 10 = 350

Bronchoscopy

The aim in the next section is to click the directional arrows to find anomalies in the bronchi. There are four parts of the bronchi to examine, with eight anomalies in each part. The time limit is also reduced with each section. A certain number of anomalies must be found or else you will need to repeat the section again.
