Hogwarts Legacy Day One Patch

With the game’s early access release dropping on February 7, the game finally releases on February 10. As with many other major titles, there’s a day one patch! These patches usually fix bugs and issues that have been found during the early access period.

One of the most notable bugs that have been found so far are performance issues, as well as a struggling frame rate – but only on PC. Hopefully this day one patch fixes the bug, but we’ll have to wait and see.

Let’s take a look at what exactly is going to be in the day one patch:

• Performance issue fixes
• Optimized gameplay
• Game crashing fixes
• Possible lag fixes
• Stability

As you can see, the majority of the fixes revolve around the performance dips that have been occurring while people play the game. While the majority of bugs are on PC, that doesn’t mean console players haven’t come across their fair share of issues too.

When is the Patch Release?

We’re not too sure when exactly the patch download will be available. With the game out on February 10, we assume that the patch will appear some time during the day, if not as soon as you install the game itself.

Bear in mind that the developer’s may be working on last minute adjustments for the patch, so we recommend giving it until the end of the day!
