The quest in question is to track down all of the statues and to retrieve their glowing blue orbs. But how do you do this? Where do you find the demiguise statues? Let’s dive into the guide at hand, shall we? We’ll split the guide up into a few different sections to make processing it easier for you!
You’ll probably see the Demiguise statues around Hogwarts a few times, but you can only do something about them once you begin the quest. The quest will be given to you by the Hogwarts caretaker, Gladwin Moon. As stated earlier, the quest itself is to retrieve the luminous blue orbs that the statues possess.
When you first try to take the orbs from the statues, you’ll notice that it’s practically impossible. The statues are basically indestructable, and no curse or spell will help you pry the orbs from them. There is, of course, a way around this!
In the day, the statues are impenatrable. However, at night, the statues take on a new form, becoming non-corporeal. This allows you to easily grab the orbs from them.
You would be able to complete this quest without having to use a single spell, but apart from a few outliers, most of the statues are found behind locked doors. Not to worry, though – this makes a great exercise for you to practice your door-unlocking spell, Alohamora.
While a few of the statues are dotted around the castle, most of them are found outside of the Hogwarts grounds. More specifically, they’re found in people’s homes in nearby villages, such as Hogsmeade and the small towns surrounding the highlands.
We recommend that you go door-to-door at night, entering the houses with the Alohamora charm, to track down all of the Demiguise Statues.
