High Heels is a game about navigating short levels in increasingly high heeled shoes. You collect more heel as you walk along, aiming to get to the very pinnacle of the level when you reach the end. And that’s easier said than done.
But if you follow the hints, tips and cheats in this strategy guide, we reckon you’re going to be walking to the finish line with style and grace every time. And you’re going to pick up a load of gems on the way as well.
There are a number of ways to get gems in the game. First and foremost, just pick them up as you’re walking along. But, if you want to start raking in even more, the best way is to watch a video at the end of your run.
This is going to triple your gem haul, and if you do it regularly you’re never going to have to worry about running out. You can also find gems in chests. We’ll have more on that in just a moment.
Once you’ve collected three keys you’ll get to play a chest-opening minigame. There are nine chests, and most of them are filled with gems. There’ll also be one special outfit prize waiting to be discovered.
If you don’t get what you want after using your three keys, you can watch a video to open three more. Chests are a great way to earn more and unlock new outfit pieces quicker than usual.
You can unlock new outfits in the store when you’ve got enough gems. They cost 600 gems a pop, so they’re not cheap. You can’t choose what you get, either. Pick clothes, heels or accessories, and you’ll end up with one item from that list at random.
You can also unlock outfits just by playing. At the end of each run a bar will fill. When it reaches 100% you’ve got yourself a new outfit piece. You’ll have to watch a short video to claim it though.
Tightropes are the toughest obstacles you’re going to come across in the game. There’s one sure fire tip that’s going to make sure you get across them in style though – keep your finger still.
You need to stay in the middle of the tightrope otherwise you’ll wobble off, so once you’ve started your crossing, keep your finger as still as possible on the screen to ensure that you get over without any mishaps.
Getting to the finish should be your aim every time you play a level. It’s easier said than done, though. You’re going to need to collect every heel you see along the way, otherwise it’s not going to happen.
You’re also going to have to ensure you’re taking the most effective route possible – avoiding losing heels along the way will make sure your shoes are as high as possible when you get to the steps at the end of a level.
