Heroes of the Dark is a game set in an alternate Victorian era that’s populated by Werewolves, Vampires and Humans. There’s a steampunk aesthetic, and plenty of characters to recruit to your cause.
So we thought it’d be a good idea to break down the characters, showing you how powerful they are when you unlock them and what role they’ll take in your team. You’ll need ten shards to unlock most of these characters, which you’ll find in gacha pulls or various dungeons in the game.
The star ratings below are based on how strong the characters are when you unlock them – a one star character might be more useful than a four star after you’ve played it for a while. But this should give you a good idea about who the best characters in the game are.
