With the Haze Seas Match, you can begin the process of spawning the Fire Fist Super Boss. There are quite a few bosses which only spawn when a specific item has been obtained in Haze Seas.

Some bosses spawn during Sea Events, so I recommend learning about those before you accidentally find yourself in the middle of a boss fight.

Haze Seas Match

The Match is used to light a campfire in the Tall Woods in Sea 1, which is required when spawning the Super Boss, Fire Fist. After lighting the campfire in Tall Woods, Pearls spawn. There are 4 Pearls in total, and they all randomly spawn around the Tall Woods.

It shouldn’t take too long to find them, just keep wandering around. Once you’ve picked all 4 of them up, head back to the campfire to locate the 4 Totems. Place the Pearls into each of the Totems to spawn the Fire Fist Super Boss.

The Match has a 5% chance to drop from the Warden at Impel Jail. The Warden can also drop the Warden Hat accessory, which has a 2.5% drop chance and increases your Stamina by 50.

Fire Fist Boss

Once you’ve spawned the Fire Fist Super Boss, you’re in with a chance of getting a few different rewards, which include:

  • Pearl Necklace [Accessory]
    • 100% chance to drop
  • Flame Fruit [Logia Devil Fruit]
    • 1% chance to drop
  • 20K coins
    • Standard, guaranteed drop
  • 25 Gems
    • Standard, guaranteed drop
  • 1.4K Bounty
    • Standard, guaranteed drop

When equipped, the Pearl Necklace increases your Stamina stat by 80 and your Fruit DMG by 7.5%. It doesn’t matter which Fruit you have, as this buff applies to all of them.

The Flame Fruit is a rare Logia-type Devil Fruit, unlocking abilities such as:

  • Fire Fist
    • Requires Fruit Level 30
  • Fire Pillar
    • Requires Fruit Level 60
  • Fire Fly
    • Requires Fruit Level 90
  • Fire Flies
    • Requires Fruit Level 120
  • Flame Emperor
    • Requires Fruit Level 150

Admittedly, I didn’t rank the Flame Fruit very high in my Haze Seas Fruit Tier List. There are stronger alternatives, such as the Magma Fruit, Gum Gear 5 Fruit, and the Electricity Fruit.

However, with the Flame Fruit being a Logia Devil Fruit, this means your character can transform into the element of fire itself. Enemies cannot attack those who use Logia unless they use Buso Haki, though this effect only activates if you are 5 levels higher than the enemy, and does not work against bosses.

Whilst Devil Fruits play a big part in your character’s combat build, there are other things to take into account, including Swords, Fighting Styles, and the Accessories you equip to unlock various stat buffs.

Fire Fist isn’t the only boss that has spawn requirements. Some have set spawn times, but there are plenty which require the completion of a few steps beforehand.

The Dragon Hybrid boss is an example of this, including the Dough Boss, Mace Boss, and Tremor Girl. When defeating any of the bosses in the game, you’re rewarded with the highly sought-after Haze Seas Boss Drops, ranging from equippable Accessories to important resources.
