GENERAL TIPS

  • There is no timer in the game so you can play this game at your own leisure.
  • You can skip the mini games if you choose to do so. Just click on "skip game" in the lower right side to move on to the next section.
  • You get 5 hints for every scene, including the inventory scenes. Use them wisely since there is no way to earn extra hints.
  • The hints will help you figure out what to do with the inventory items and they will also help you locate items that are on your list.
  • If you are out of hints in the scenes in which you need to use inventory items, the next item that you need to use will flash on the screen after the screen has been idle for a short while.
  • The inventory items that you click on will be automatically added to the inventory box. In some scenes, the inventory item will not be picked up until after all the items from the list have been found.
  • Once you find all the items on the list you will be able to use your inventory item somewhere in that scene or in the next scene.
  • Look at the writing that appears at the bottom of the scene, it will tell you some thoughts that can help you decipher what to do in the game.
  • If the thoughts go by too fast, you click on the "journal" tab that is at the bottom right corner so you can read them again.
  • If you click randomly on the scene too many times, your cursor will float around the scene for a few seconds.
  • Some of the clues can be hard to decipher or can be ambiguous. In some instances you are asked to look for a cone, in this game that can be a pine cone or a traffic cone. Once the clue was "danger", the clue actually referred to a yellow sign that had a lightning bolt on it. In many scenes I was asked for just a number, in most cases that number was written on a die or a pair of dice. Just make sure that you think of all possibilities when looking for items.


SPOILER ALERT!!!!

  • The following section contains a walkthrough for all the scenes in the game. If you do not wish to know the solutions, please stop reading now.

RECEPTION DESK

  • Look for all the items on the list that is on the right side of the page.
  • Click on the keys that are on the left side of the desk and they will be automatically added to your inventory.
  • Click on the guest registry that is on the right side of the desk and you will get a closer view.


GUEST REGISTRY

  • Grab the pencil that is on the right side of the registry and it will go into inventory.
  • Place the pencil on the left page of the registry, under the "Welcome" sign.
  • The pencil will automatically trace itself on the page and you will be able to read:"A Einstein Professor room 1012"
  • Click on the silver tin box that is on the top right side and it will open up.
  • Place the keys on the open box and it will leave an imprint of the key inside.

SUSPECTED PROFESSOR’S ROOM

  • Number Pad-Lower right corner, on the drawers.
  • Click on the note that is on the top left side, it is tucked behind the wall clock.
  • When you click on the paper it will say:"James. Internet. Room No. 13"
  • Click on the paper and it will take you to a different scene in which you will see a door.
  • You will see that the piece above the door handle is sparkling, place the number pad from inventory over the sparkling area and then click on the number again to get a clearer view.

NUMBER PAD

  • You have to guess the code that needs to be entered in order for you to break into the room.
  • Input random numbers into the keypad and they will show up on the pad.
  • In order to figure out the right combination you have to analyze the colors that the numbers turn into once you input all of them.
  • Numbers cannot be repeated.
  • Green-When you see a green number appear it means that the number is correct and in the right spot. Do not change the location of a number once it turns green.
  • Yellow-When a number turns yellow it means that the number is in the sequence, it’s just in the wrong spot. Make sure that when you re-enter the number that you place that same number but in a different spot.
  • Red-When you see the red color appear on a number it means that number is not part of the code at all. Do not use that number in the code again.
  • The code that worked for me in this instance was "08654" but this solution may be random.


SUSPECTED HACKER’S ROOM

  • Click on the UV Lamp that is on the right side of the desk and it will go into inventory.
  • Click on the computer screen and you will be taken to the hacker’s computer.

HACKER’S COMPUTER

  • Grab the UV light and place it on the computer screen and you will see some green numbers and some arrows that are pointing to the numbers.
  • The 2 numbers that are circled are the numbers that you need to change, all the other numbers are given to you.
  • Use the "+" and "-" buttons to change the numbers that you need.
  • The numbers should be entered as follows:"5 1 2 1 9 6 2 6"
  • Then click on the return key to test the code. If all the numbers are correct they will turn green. The return key is the small arrow that is on the lower right side.


TERRACE

  • Look for all the items on the list, once you’ve found them all, some papers will start to shimmer on the table, click on the photo pieces.


MESSAGE

  • You have to piece the picture back together by right clicking the mouse or using the wheel on your mouse.
  • Only 1 piece will come out a time on your cursor. You can see in the background a faint image of what you’re supposed to put together.
  • As soon as you place one piece in the right place the next piece will automatically come out.
  • You cannot get another piece on the cursor until you’ve found the place of the one you have on the cursor at the moment.

MUSICIAN’S ROOM

  • Pick up the paper clip that is on the lower center, on the red piece and it will go into inventory.
  • Grab the paperclip from inventory and place it on the chest that is on the bed. lower left side and a puzzle will appear.

PICK THE LOCK

  • Click on each pin and the paperclip will push them up. You may have to click on the pins more than once in order to lock the pins into position.
  • All 5 pins must be in the top position to win the game. Follow the steps outlined below to pass this game.
  • Click on the 2nd pin 3 times
  • Click on the first pin 3 times.
  • Click on the third pin 3 times.
  • Click on the first pin 3 times again.
  • Click on the fourth pin 3 times
  • Click on the third pin 3 times again.
  • Click on the first pin 3 times one more time.
  • Click on the last pin 3 times.
  • Lastly, click on the first pin 3 times.
  • Once the code has been entered correctly the chest will open and there will be a key inside of it. Click on the key.
  • HUNTER’S ROOM
  • HH 13
  • Pick up the knife that is on the lower left side of the scene. It is sticking out of the backside of the chair.
  • Click on the suitcase that is on the lower left side and you will get a close-up view of what is inside.


OPEN SUITCASE

  • Click on the scene and all the items in the suitcase will move to the left side.
  • Grab the knife from inventory and place it on the right side of the suitcase and it will cut a slit open.
  • Click on the piece of paper that is sticking out of the slit and you will get a closer view of a map. Click on the map to exit the scene.

OUR ROOM

  • Once all the items from the list have been found, click on the cologne bottle that is on the left side of the desk.
  • Click on the bottle again once it’s on the screen.

GARAGE

  • Pick up the spark plug that is on the left side of the scene, on the table.
  • Pick up the machine belt that is on the lower left side, on top of the engine.
  • Pick up the hose bend that is on the lower right side, next to the tire that is on the car.
  • A tiny picture of the engine goes in the top left corner, click on the tiny picture to get a closer view.

ENGINE

  • Place the spark plug in the hole that is on the lower left side of the engine.
  • Click on the cap that is on the lower left corner of the engine and it will automatically go into the top left side of the page.
  • Place the hose on the left side of the scene, where it says "Air" on the metal part. The hose will be automatically attached.
  • Click on the little white cap that is on the lower right side (next to the black cap that you picked up at the beginning) and it will disappear leaving you room for the belt.
  • Place the belt on the fan that is on the lower center of the scene and you will see a small picture of your next location in a tiny box that will be in the upper left side.
  • Click on the picture to get the Craftman’s Room.

CRAFTMAN’S ROOM

  • Pick up the clamp that is on the lower right side, it looks like a silver ring, right side of the desk.
  • Pick up the blue insulation tape that is on the lower right side. It is next to the yellow toolbelt that is on top of the cluttered desk.
  • The tiny engine picture will appear in the top left side of the scene, click on it.

ENGINE PART 2

  • Place the insulation tape on the top right side of the engine, you will see that 2 ends have some blue pieces on them already.
  • Once the tape is on there, both pieces will mend.
  • Place the clamp on hose that is on the left side of the engine. The screen will turn green as soon as the clamp is put in.
  • Click on the green screen and you will be taken to an inside view of the car.

CAR INTERIOR

  • Click on the ignition key and then click on the small red button that is on the left side of the car.
  • A small screen will appear and the instructions will tell you to hotwire the car.

HOTWIRE THE CAR

  • Click and drag to connect the fuse pegs.
  • Turn the key to test your wiring.
  • If the wires are red, it means that the wires are in the wrong place, make sure that the next time around that you place them in a different location.
  • To start over just click on the buttons that are incorrect and the wires will go back into place.
  • Once all the wires are in the right place, you will see the picture of the green car and then you will be taken to the next scene.

SOMEWHERE IN THE FOREST

  • Pick up the hammer lower left side, under the window.
  • Pick up the nails that are on top of the large rock, lower left side.
  • Pick up the stack of lumber that is on the lower right side of the scene.
  • Once all the items from the list have been picked up, place the lumber on the ladder that is on the left side of the ground.
  • Place the nails on the ladder first and then place the hammer.
  • Once the ladder is fixed, it will go on the side of the house automatically.
  • Click on top of the house (above the spot where the ladder is) and you will be taken to the Boiler House.

BOILER HOUSE

  • Click on the furnace and it will light up, click on the sign that is on the ground, lower right side and you will taken to a screen with some gems.

GEM PUZZLE

  • Your goal is to line up the gems in the right place.
  • You have to line up the 2 largest rings with each other.
  • You have to match the colored triangles that are on the outside with the next ring that is underneath it. Once those 2 rings are lined up, look at the small tip that is at the bottom of the ring. Match the gems up with those colors.
  • Please look at the screenshot for the correct placement.
  • Once the gems are lined up, the puzzle will move to the side and some keys will appear at the bottom, click on the keys to move on.

SECURITY MANAGER’S ROOM

  • Click on the key that is on the left side, close to the crooked picture that is on the left side of the wall. The key is actually hanging at the end of the silver horse.
  • Place the key on silver safe that is on top of the desk. Once the safe opens click on it and you will be taken to the next scene.


BYPASS THE SECURITY SYSTEM

  • Click on the tubes so that you can rotate them. You have to light up all the fuses on the right side (the red buttons).
  • The red buttons have to turn yellow. You don’t have to turn all the buttons yellow at one time in order to win the game.
  • Once you complete one section, make sure that you complete the other sections that you need.
  • The best way to explain this puzzle is by looking at the video link that I provided above.

PRIEST’S ROOM

  • Once all the items have been taken off the list, click on the photo pieces that are on the bed.
  • Once the photo pieces are on the screen, click on them again to access the puzzle.

PHOTO PUZZLE

  • You have to piece the picture back together by right clicking the mouse or using the wheel on your mouse.
  • Only 1 piece will come out a time on your cursor. You can see in the background a faint image of what you’re supposed to put together.
  • As soon as you place one piece in the right place the next piece will automatically come out.
  • You cannot get another piece on the cursor until you’ve found the place of the one you have on the cursor at the moment.

GARDEN

  • There are no inventory items to find in this location. Once all the items from the list have been found, click on the basement entrance that is on the left side of the page.

HIDDEN BASEMENT

  • Click on the big hammer that is on the right side of the ground.
  • Once all the items from the list have been found, click on the entrance that is on the left side of the room.

SECRET BASEMENT ROOM

  • When you first enter the secret basement room, the big hammer will already be in your inventory.
  • Grab the cassette tape that is on the table and place it will go directly into the cassette player.
  • Grab the film viewer that is on the left side of the cassette player and it will go into inventory.
  • Place the film viewer on the roll of film that is on the right side of the table.
  • Click on the white bottle that is on the shelf that is on the left side and it will go into inventory.
  • Place the bottle on the rag that is on the shelf. Click on the rag and it will automatically wipe the writing that is on the desk, next to the cassette player.
  • Click on the writing to the Clairvoyant’s room.

CLAIRVOYANT’S ROOM

  • When you enter the Clairvoyant’s room the big hammer will still be in inventory.
  • There are no extra inventory items in this room. Once all the items have been found, grab the hammer from inventory and place it on the crystal ball that is on the table and a map will appear.
  • Click on the map to go to the next section.

ROOF

  • There are no inventory items to find in this scene.
  • Click on the journal that is on the lower left side of the scene and the diary will open up on the screen.
  • Click on the journal once it’s on the page to go to the puzzle.
