Our Grow a Garden Tranquil guide goes over the mutation for crops, pets, and whether or not there are specific plants. Not sure what Chi is in Grow a Garden? We’ve got a guide that explains how to get the new currency!

Grow a Garden Tranquil

In the Zen update, everything is tranquil! There’s also the Trainquil Treasures shop, which features a bunch of items that you can purchase with Chi.

Tranquil Mutation

Both your crops and pets can get the mutation.

Crops

If a crop has the Tranquil mutation, it sells for 20x more than its base value. To get this mutation, you either need to wait for the Zen Aura event to occur every 60 minutes or place the Tanchozaru pet in your garden.

This pet applies the Tranquil mutation to a random crop every 10 minutes. You can obtain the Tanchozaru by hatching a Zen Egg, with a 4.6% chance due to its Legendary rarity. The Zen Egg costs 30 Chi from the Tranquil Treasures shop!

Pets

When you have a Tranquil pet in your garden, it has a chance to apply the Tranquil mutation to a random crop every 25 minutes or so. This is not a guarantee, so it’s not overly reliable!

Pets have a 3.12% chance of naturally getting the Tranquil mutation; however, you can obtain and use a Tranquil Pet Shard to give the mutation to a pet of your choice. This Pet Shard costs 200 Chi from the Tranquil Treasure shop.

Tranquil Plants

There are no plants that are definitely Tranquil, as it is just a mutation. Notably, the best plants to get this mutation are ones that already have a high base selling value, as that 20x multiplier makes a difference.

You cannot pick which crops get the mutation, whether you take part in the Zen Aura event, own a Tranquil Pet, or own the Tanchozaru pet.
