This may be a controversial opinion, but I think the Imp is the best Fairy Pet! It offers a variety of rewards when you successfully catch it, and it wants to play chase quite frequently, every 6 minutes and 66 seconds. The rewards you can get from the Imp are useful and save you from spending your Sheckles. Plus, it’s a fun addition to your garden!
The runner-up pet is either the Pixie or the Cockatrice. The Pixie increases the growth speed of a crop by 30 seconds every second, which practically speeds through the entire growth cycle for some plants. However, the Cockatrice has two abilities, with the Venom Spit one increasing the selling value of crops by 15x, boosting your pets, and speeding up the hatching of eggs.

When the Ladybug is active in your garden, the growth speed of all flower-type crops increases by 1.6x.
Summons pixie dust for 15 to 30 seconds every 100 to 222 seconds. This pixie dust increases the growth speed of nearby crops by 30 seconds every second. If you’re standing nearby to the Pixie pet, you start to levitate.
Every 6 minutes and 66 seconds, the Imp pet asks you to chase it. If you manage to catch the Imp, you earn a reward, but you also have a 15 to 30% chance that the Imp wants to play the game again afterwards. The potential Imp rewards are:
Flies over to a random crop in your garden every 3 minutes or so. It then enchants the crop and applies the Glimmering mutation, which increases the selling value by 2x.
This pet has two different abilities. The first is Silver Screech, which causes the Cockatrice to screech every 400 to 1000 seconds. Then, all nearby plants have a 20 to 40% chance of getting the Silver mutation, and a 1 to 3% chance of getting the Gold mutation. Silver crops sell for 5x more, and Gold crops sell for 20x more.
The second ability is Venom Spit. Every 180 to 625 seconds, the pet spits at 5 to 10 pets, eggs, and fruit in your garden. The crops get the Toxic mutation, pets get 800 to 1.5K EXP, and the hatching speed of eggs increases by 80 to 150 seconds. The Toxic mutation increases the selling value of crops by 15x.
