Is the Cat Method worth trying out?
The Cat Method entails (get it?) placing multiple cat pets in your garden at the same time. While you are limited to 3 pets at first, you can increase your slots by exchanging any extra copies of pets you have in your inventory. The more cats you have in your garden, the better this method works.
Anyway, the whole reason for taking part in the Cat Method is that it increases the amount of large crops in your garden. Larger crops sell for more Sheckles!
No matter the type of Cat, they all boost the size of nearby crops. So, with that logic, the more cats in your garden, the more crops will increase in size and selling value.
The regular Cat pet boosts the size of nearby crops (within 10 Studs) by 1.25x every 90 seconds (80-second cooldown, followed by a 10-second nap).
The Orange Tabby, which is a little rarer, increases crop size (within 15 Studs) by 1.5x every 105 seconds (90-second cooldown and a 15-second nap).
Lastly, the Moon Cat, which is the rarest of them all, and is no longer available, boosts all nearby plants (within 20 Studs) by 1.5x every 80 seconds (60-second cooldown and a 20-second nap).
Personally, I think all Cat pets are good to use for the Cat Method, though the Moon Cat and Orange Tabby have a larger radius when it comes to their abilities.
The difference in the size buff is only 0.25 between the regular Cat and the Orange Tabby/Moon Cat. Though the Orange Tabby has a longer cooldown than the others.
