What is the Blood Moon Event?

The Blood Moon event is part of the overarching Lunar Glow event, which is also known as the nighttime event. The Blood Moon appears every 3 real-life hours, but has a 33% chance of spawning each time the Night event occurs.

During the Blood Moon event, the chances of growing crops with the Moonlit mutation significantly increase, as well as granting your crops a chance of gaining the Bloodlit mutation. Additionally, the Blood Moon shop becomes available when the event is active and disappears until the next time it spawns in.

When the Blood Moon event occurs, a tombstone rises from the ground on the right side of the Lunar Glow event area. The tombstone glows red, with a crescent moon etched into it.
