Grow A Garden 2 is over a week old. Has it been a week already? Time flies when you’re eyeing the seed shop restock and chasing off crop thieves with a shovel. The first Grow A Garden 2 update is here, and I’m here to cover all the important bits.

What’s In The Update?

Below you’ll find all the new features added in the latest update on the 19th of June.

Content

This section includes any new plants, pets, items, or mechanics.

• New Plants
  • Venom Spitter – A Mythic Rarity plant bought from the shop.
• New Items
  • Megaphone – Available from the Gear Shop for 7,000c. Allows you to play a Roblox music code of your choice to everyone in your vicinity. I’m sure everyone is going to use it wisely and responsibly.
  • Player Magnet – Available from the Gear Shop for 7 million c. Pulls players towards it.
  • Strawberry Sniper (Monday addition) – Lets you take shots at crop thieves.
• New Weather
  • Aurora Borealis – At this time of year, at this time of day, in this part of the country, localized entirely within-  Okay I’ll stop. Random weather, gives the Aurora Mutation.
• New Pet
  • Bear – Attacks intruders that enter your garden.
• Double Or Nothing
  • A new feature at the Sell Shop.

Rebalances

In this sections are any major changes to prices, multipliers, the power of gears, whatever might impact the meta.

• Anti-Cheat – Not sure if this completely counts as a balance thing, but it will certainly help the overall balance of the in-game economy

Fixes

Here is where we talk about different noted bug fixes and general minor tweaks.

• No fixes mentioned as of the last update. We’ll post any we find here.

Future Updates

The next update should be arriving Friday the 26th of June. There are no concrete announcements as of yet about what content the update will include, though we will be adding in any minor sneak peaks or leaked content to our Grow A Garden 2 leaks list, so you can check on there for any wild speculation on our part.

• When does Grow A Garden 2 update?
  • It’s only updated once before, and that’s been exactly a week after release, on a Friday. It does not update at the same time as the original Grow A Garden.
• Does Grow A Garden 2 have Admin Abuse?
  • We have not seen any specific Admin Abuse events in Grow A Garden 2 yet. When we were online for the first update, there were two rare weathers in a row, but nothing as big as a classic Admin Abuse like you might see in the original Grow A Garden. It remains to be seen if GaG 2 will see Admin Abuse on the levels of the older game.
• Where do you get your info from?
  • We did immediately check the lists in-game around update time, though we also check the announcements channel in the Grow A Garden Discord for information.
