Gakuran Update Log [NEW MAP]

My Gakuran Update Log contains everything you need to know about the latest content, mainly focusing on the info that players are most bothered about. The latest update has been one of the largest ones yet in Gakuran, with a completely reworked and rereleased map.

New Additions

• Map Expansion 
  • The map has now been expanded to include a reworked version of the main city area. Before this addition, the city was temporarily removed, meaning players could only explore Nishikata High School
    • A variety of new locations to visit, including Club Akuma, Nishikata Coffee Shop, the Nishikata gym, the laundromat, Kobayashi Ramen and the 7-Eleven Gas Station
• New Fighting Style: Kure
  • Passives:
    • Last Stand
      • When your HP is at 25% or below, your DMG increases by 15%
    • Guard Pierce II
      • Block Chip DMG increases by 15%
    • Resilience I
      • You have a 15% chance to grapple when clashing
• New Songs on the Phone Music App
  • There are 10 new songs that you can play via the Phone Music App on your in-game mobile phone
• New Songs For Instruments
  • There are 8 new songs to play on instruments, each of which acts as its own rhythm game level
• Weather App Added to the Mobile Phone
  • The in-game mobile phone now has a Weather App that shows the current forecast. This has no real purpose, other than for roleplaying or screenshot possibilities
• Gifting Rerolls
  • Players can gift each other Rerolls, used to roll for new cosmetics, stats, and fighting styles
• Camera Filters
  • The Camera app on the in-game mobile phone now has a variety of filters to choose from when taking photos
• Music App Changes
  • Various things have been added to the mobile phone’s Music App:
    • Artists
    • Playlists
    • Likes
  • The function and appearance of the Music App have also been improved

• The Parry Stun mechanic has been reworked
• Game stability updates
• Some known bugs have been fixed

• Voice Chat Phone Calls
  • Making phone calls on the in-game mobile phone now works with voice chat
• Walk Variants
  • The emote wheel now has multiple walking variants, accessible via the Walk section
• Private Server Changes
  • /respawnall command can be used
  • Basic admin commands have been added
  • Announcements include player names and titles
  • Player list search bar
  • Persistent Player roles have been added

Changes and Fixes

• Combat
  • You are stunned for 1 second when you are parried
  • Slugger Attack DMG increases from 25% to 30%
  • Slugger DMG taken has been reduced from 25% to 10%
  • Various combat VFX fixes
• Map
  • Hallways are now locations and are classed as a Green Zone
• UI
  • Mobile HUD layouts can now be saved
