At time of writing, there’s only one place in the world you can find Fordrake. It appears as a random encounter in The Mine Depths, with a 1% encounter rate. This is incredibly low, so be prepared to search for a while before you finally run into one. Make sure you’re well-prepared with plenty of Tanocans before you start your search.
Let’s get down to brass tacks. Fordrake is a dual Dragon/Metal type Tanorian, which means it has the following weaknesses and resistances.
In terms of Abilities, Fordrake can come with either Iron Armor or Molten Core. It also has the following base stats.
Some players have listed Fordrake as a Pseudo-Legendary Tanorian. That is, a normal Tanorian with base stats comparable to that of a Legendary Tanorian. Is this true? Let’s look at the facts.
Typically, Pseudo-Legendaries in monster catching games have two key characteristics: a specific high base stat total, and a three-stage evolutionary line. Fordrake certainly doesn’t have the latter, as he doesn’t evolve into or from any other Tanorians.
As for the stats aspect, the best way to check is to compare Fordrake with the confirmed Pseudo-Legendary in the game, Dandylion. Dandylion has a base stats total of 600, the same as the game’s only Legendary Tanorian, Flowither. Fordrake, on the other hand, has a base stat total of 510.
In conclusion, Fordrake doesn’t meet either of the Pseudo-Legendary requirements, and is therefore just a normal Tanorian. Don’t let that put you off, though. It’s still extremely powerful, and a great asset to your team!
