Flip Man is the latest addictive high score chaser by KetchApp. You play as some kind of stuntman who has to grab and flip across a variety of poles for some unknown reason.

It’s all based on physics, with you tapping to grab a pole and releasing at the opportune moment to spring your character to the next. You get extra points for a perfect swing and for performing multiple flips along the way.

In this guide, we’re going to give you a bunch of tips and tricks to help you nail the perfect flip every single time and, more importantly, get a high score.

Flip Man Tips and Tricks:

  • Momentum is everything: Building momentum is the secret to succeeding in Flip Man. You’ll want to take your time and grab and hold each pole, waiting until you’ve built momentum before moving on.
  • Your feet are the guide: When do you release? Well, when your feet are in the correct position. You’ll get a good feel for this the more you play but a good rule of thumb is, to get straight to the next pole, your feet should be pointing towards it when you release. If you want to get more spins point about halfway between the pole and entirely vertical upwards and if you want to try and skip it entirely, build up a ton of momentum and have your feet just slightly above the pole when you release.
  • You can multi flip and skip poles for more points: If you flip multiple times before you land, you’ll get extra points. You’ll also get more for skipping a pole entirely, so try and do one of these stunts each time to maximise your score.
  • Perfects aren’t all that necessary: In our experience, perfects aren’t actually that great or necessary. The bonus points aren’t as high as flipping multiple times or skipping a pole and it’s much harder to pull off. We’d just focus on multi flipping or skipping instead.
  • Get your daily free coins and spin the wheel: Coins won’t help you get a higher score but they will help you unlock new characters and bikes. Don’t miss out on getting your free daily coins or wheel spins if you really care about unlockables.
