Is the Ares Rod worth it?

The Ares Rod is a Mythical rarity fishing rod, making it one of the best rods to obtain right now! It’s a key part of your rod progression as you level up.
To obtain the Ares Rod for yourself, you need to spawn a boat and head to the Tropical Grove island. Once you’re there, equip Diving Gear, as you’ll be going underwater! You can purchase Diving Gear with in-game coins.
Walk to the waterfall area, and quickly swim through the water to enter the cove. Look to the left to find some rocks that you can jump up. Head forward, and you can find a skeleton on the ground with the Ares rod floating above a pile of rocks.
The Ares Rod itself costs a total of 3 million in-game coins, making it quite expensive, but still affordable despite its strong stats. Considering its price, it’s definitely a great option for a mid-game rod that extends into the late game. If you’re not happy with its base stats, you can always improve them by enchanting the rod with Enchant Stones.
So, now that you know how to get the Ares Rod, do its stats impress? I’d say it’s one of the better fishing rods in Fish it, though there are better options out there. It’s not too difficult to obtain, but it may take a while to save up 3 million in-game coins.
As of right now, it doesn’t look like the Ares Rod has any passive abilities, which may hinder its usefulness. It’s always good to have a rod that has a passive whilst balancing decent stats.
