Fisch Winter’s Edge Bestiary Guide

Which fish are you missing from the Fisch Winter’s Edge Bestiary? There are only 5 fish included, but they were only available for a very short amount of time.

Even though you can’t get the Winter’s Edge catches in Fisch anymore, you can still explore the Northern Summit! 2 island-exclusive events have a chance of occurring, one of which you can activate yourself with a Fisch Blizzard Totem.

Fisch Winter’s Edge Bestiary

The Winter’s Edge fish were available for a total of 3 days. Only the ocean, Northern Expedition, and the Northern Expedition island have a chance of housing the 5 different fish.

You can still view the bestiary for Winter’s Edge fish, as long as you managed to catch them, or have been given them by other players. You just can’t physically catch them anymore, at least not until they come back to Fisch (if they do).

Winter’s Edge Fish

As mentioned, the Winter’s Edge fish are no longer available in-game. There is no news as to whether or not there are plans for the fish to return in future updates, which will most likely be in Winter 2025.

Unusual Fish

A red exclamation mark pops up if you catch this fish.

  • A red and green fish with swirls across its body
  • Preferences:
    • Does not care about the weather, season, or time of day
    • Prefers Insects as bait

Rare Fish

Like Unusual fish, a red exclamation mark pops up if you catch a Rare one.

• Hollow Flake Catfish
  • A blue catfish, with swirls and snowflake patterns across its body
  • Preferences:
    • Does not care about the weather, season, or time of day
    • Prefers Squid as bait

Legendary Fish

A golden exclamation mark pops up if you catch this fish.

• Frozen Fangfish
  • A blue fish with white and pale blue details, covered in a pattern of swirls and snowflakes, with icey blue fangs
  • Preferences:
    • Does not care about the weather, season, or time of day
    • Prefers Shrimp as bait

Mythical Fish

A pink exclamation mark pops up if you catch this fish.

• Glacier Glowfish
  • A blue angler fish, with a visible ribcage that contains a smaller blue fish inside
  • Preferences:
    • Does not care about the weather, season, or time of day
    • Prefers Shrimp as bait
