2. You can randomly catch Magic Thread when fishing on any island or within the ocean! It has no preferences and no hotspot location

Ancient Thread

Ancient Thread appears in 2 crafting recipes for fishing rods.

How to Obtain

1. Like Magic Thread, this type of thread has a chance to appear inside Treasure Chests located by a Treasure Map. Ancient Thread has a 15-16% of spawning when you open a chest
2. The same goes for Ancient Thread! You can find it when fishing in any location across the map, with no preferences

Lunar Thread

Lunar Thread is required in 2 craftable rod recipes.

How to Obtain

1. Lunar Thread is the rarest type, with a 3-5% chance of spawning inside Treasure Chests. You’re more likely to obtain Magic Thread and Ancient Thread before you get your hands on Lunar Thread!
2. Fish in any location to potentially obtain this type of thread. Equip a fishing rod with a high Luck stat to increase your chances, but there is no preference of bait type, season, time of day, or weather
