The Fisch Steady Rod has its benefits, but do they outweigh the negatives?

Head to Roselit Bay in Roblox‘s Fisch! See where we’ve ranked each rod with our Fisch Rod Tier List, or for a deeper dive into our favourites, we’ve also got a Fisch Best Rod guide.

Fisch Steady Rod

If I’m being honest, it’s not the most impressive rod as a whole.

Steady Rod Stats

With a decent buff to your Luck and Resilience, it’s definitely not the worst rod out there. However, the Lure reduction isn’t great, especially when you’re trying to grind for certain fish or coins.

When reeling in pesky fish who zip around the bar, the Resilience and Control buffs make this a little easier! Plus, there’s the passive ability of the Steady Rod, which is probably what makes it so popular.

Stats

  • Luck increases by 35%
  • Resilience increases by 30%
  • Maximum KG increases to 10K
  • Control gets a 0.05 boost
  • Lure reduces by 60%

Steady Rod Passive Ability

When using this rod to fish, the Shake circle that appears while trying to lure in a fish increases in size. This passive benefits mobile or tablet players the most. I find the Shake circle size to be just fine on PC, but it can be a little trickier on smaller touchscreens.

To be honest, I often click outside of the UI by accident, so having larger circles to interact with isn’t a bad idea! I recommend the Steady Rod for players who struggle with the luring process of fishing.

How to Get the Steady Rod

To get the Steady Rod, you need to make your way to Roselit Bay. Find the Blacksmith NPC and speak with them – their coordinates are around -1510, 140, 765)! They offer a range of items, but the one you’re looking for is the Steady Rod. As long as you have 7K coins, you can purchase it.
