How to Get the Glitched Potion in Fisch

To obtain the Glitched Potion, you need to craft it… or ‘brew’ it at the cauldron.

With how the brewing feature works, there are a variety of possible fish that may be part of the recipes. Three of these fish are randomly chosen, which then become the required ingredients for the potion’s recipe. The potential fish that may be required for the Glitched Potion are:

• Lobster King
  • Extinct recipe
• Scylla
  • Secret rarity
• Orca
  • Exotic rarity
• Moby
  • Secret rarity
• Sea Leviathan
  • Extinct rarity

Once you start brewing the Glitched Potion, it takes a total of 3 hours to complete. Luckily, there’s a 100% success chance of Tier 1 being brewed. However, there is no Tier 2 or Tier 3 for this potion, unlike some of the others.

Cauldron Location

Not sure where the cauldron is? When the Blue Moon event is active, you can head to either Lushgrove or Snowcap Island to find a cave, where the cauldron is located. The Blue Moon event can spawn randomly when it’s currently Winter in-game with clear weather, but can also be activated if someone on the server uses a Blue Moon Totem.

What Does the Glitched Potion Do?

When using the Glitched Potion, it duplicates all of the fish you catch while active. The potion itself lasts for 10 minutes, so make sure to fish as much as possible within this time frame! It’s only really worth it if you can guarantee that you’re going to be obtaining a ton of high-rarity fish.

That’s why it’s great to use when you have a fishing rod with a high Luck stat and Maximum Weight. It’s a bonus if the rod has a quick Lure Speed, as that means you can catch more fish over time! As always, enchanting your most powerful fishing rods is always a key part of improving their stats.
