Sylveon enters the Fisch universe!
Is the Fisch Fabulous Rod even real? And is it as fabulous as people say? There are plenty of mysterious rods in Fisch. One of which is the Fisch Miku Rod, based on everyone’s favourite Vocaloid, Hatsune Miku.
The Fabulous Rod features ribbons that look just like those attached to Sylveon from Pokémon. It glows pink while the top of the fishing rod has a large bow, reminiscent of that which Hello Kitty wears.
After an in-game message appeared on the screens of active players, many believe that the Fabulous Rod is now obtainable. He asked, “Should we release the Fabulous Rod this weekend?”. So, in that case, how do you get the fishing rod?
Firstly, you need to speak with the Fabulous Deity NPC, who you can find in the Calm Zone, which is the layer beneath the Abyssal Zenith in the caves (a submarine is required!).
If you’ve been to the Calm Zone before, you may know where the Ethereal Prism Rod is. The Fabulous Deity stands on a ledge nearby to this fishing rod. After speaking with this NPC, you need to work through four different quests.
All four of the quests you need to complete for the Fabulous Deity. Some of these catches require specific mutations, making some of the quests quite difficult.
Once you complete these quests, the Fabulous Deity rewards you with the Fabulous Rod.
It may look fabulous, but are its stats up to scratch?
When using the Fabulous Rod during the fishing minigame, there is a 25% chance every 0.25 seconds of Stabbing the fish, increasing progress by 1.5%. Once the rod has Stabbed 3 times, Control increases by 0.2 and Progress Speed increases by 100% for 3 seconds. There’s also a 26% chance of catching fish with the Fabulous mutation, which increases the selling value by 13.5x.
