It’s time to delve deeper into the Chocobo Farm feature!
In short, the Chocobo Farm can be used to set out on exciting expeditions accompanied by a Chocobo. When returning from these expeditions, characters (and their Chocobo!) will bring back a variety of items, as well as a decent amount of character EXP.
The Chocobo Farm is where they will reside and you can visit whenever you want! Each Chocobo will stand within the pen as they relax and graze. In fact, there are different types of Chocobo to collect throughout the game.
As mentioned above, you can send a Chocobo out on an expedition with a character. These expeditions can take place across Midgar, with locations such as Mako Reactor 1 and Sector 8. As you progress with the Chocobo Farm feature, you will unlock additional areas, expanding your map and the variety of items that you can obtain. Certain items will have a smaller drop rate chance, with Common Drops appearing the most at the end of an expedition.
