Stay thin while you run

While you’re in the middle of the level, it’s a good idea to keep your weight down as best you can. That’s going to make it easier to get over most of the obstacles. There are points where it’s impossible not to put on weight, but try and make sure you balance out the weight gain by picking up some healthy food as soon as you can.

Only heavy characters can smash glass

At the end of the level, you need to fatten up to smash through the glass. There’s always a large piece of fatty food and a large piece of thinning food on the way to the chest. Pick up the fatty food to plough through the glass, then pick up the thinning food to leap over the other obstacles. Sometimes you’ll be massive when you get to the end, but that doesn’t actually seem to matter.

Watch out for traps

Glass floors are one of the trickiest obstacles in the game, especially when they’re covered in fatty food. That’s because if you get too big, you’re going to crack the floor and fall to your death. Try and avoid picking up fatty foods while you’re on any obstacle – they’re a sure fire way to fall off and have to start the game again.

New outfits and foods are just cosmetic

You can buy new outfits with the cash you earn, and the new foods unlock as you play. All they do is change the look of the game, though, so don’t worry too much about watching videos to speed up the process. You’ll unlock everything naturally, so just focus on having fun.

Too fat, can’t get over that

If you’re too fat, you’re not going to be able to clamber over obstacles. That’s as true in the end section of a level as it is in the middle. The key to success is balance – making sure you’re not too heavy to make it to the end. If you’re looking too heavy, make sure you grab some healthy food before you get to the next obstacle.
