Fall Break is a game about pushing a rag doll and send it tumbling down into a series of dangerous obstacles. A ghoulish check list of shattered bones will tot up your score and let you know how successful your plummet back to the ground has been.

It’s pretty grim and pretty funny, and while it might not seem like the most complex game in the world, there are some things you’ll need to know to come out victorious. And that’s where this strategy guide comes in. We’ve learned what to do, and now we’re sharing it with you.

You might be about to poke your first doll to its doom. You might have slaughtered hundreds. Whatever the case, you’ll find something here to help you out. These are the best hints, tips and cheats for Fall Break. Let’s do this.

You can change your push

When you tap on the rag doll, you set the position you’re going to push it from. You can change that position by tapping again and moving where the arrow behind them is pointing. This comes in really handy when the levels get more complicated.

Full power is usually best

While there are several exceptions to this rule, for the most part you’re going to want to give the rag doll the heftiest shove that you can. Keep an eye on the bar at the bottom of the screen and tap when the bar is as close to full as possible to get the strongest shove.

Why did you fail?

Sometimes you’re going to mess up a level. Don’t get too disheartened by it, but do have a think about why it went wrong. Was it the push? Was it the direction? Learn from your mistakes and adapt your strategy for your next try.

What are the coins for?

You can spend the coins you earn on new skins in the shop before you start every level. It’s on the right side of the screen and it’ll have an exclamation mark on it if you’ve got enough gold to buy yourself a new outfit. They’re purely aesthetic, but some of them are pretty funny.

Should you increase your haul?

You’re already going to be sitting through a lot of adverts, and it isn’t really worth your while to watch even more to get a few extra coins. Watching the ads to unlock the costumes that are offered from time to time makes far more sense. But what you do with your time is entirely up to you.
