GENERAL TIPS

There is only one mode in the game, it is a timed mode. You will be given a certain amount of time in which to find all the objects in the scene.
You are never given a list of items to find in this game, instead, you are given a general theme and you must figure out from that which items to look for.
The items that you will be asked to search for in each room will vary. When you replay the game, you will be asked to find new items within each scene. This adds to the replay value of the game.
Please keep that in mind as you read the walkthrough part of this guide, that some of the solutions may not be the same as yours. I tried to incorporate all the items that I encountered while playing this game, however, they may be more.
When you hover over an item it will tell you what the name of the item and how much it retails for. This will eliminate the need for random clicking since you get a description of each item in the room.
If you click randomly in the scene, you will have 30 seconds taken off your clock for each penalty.

HELPER ITEMS

Some objects will need an additional part called helper items before you can sell it for top dollar.
Once you find an item that needs a helper item, it will be circled in red. At the bottom of the page you will be given the name of the helper item and then you must find it in the scene.
For example, you may find a water hose but in order to sell it for more money you will need to find a nozzle for it as well.
Once you find the helper item, it will automatically merge with the item it belongs to. The circle will turn green like the rest of them.
You cannot click on the helper items until you’ve found the item that it goes to first.

YARD SALES

In the yard sale mode you will be given a list with names of potential buyers and clues as to what items they are looking for. Your job is to correctly guess what item goes with what person.
Some clues will be obvious while with others you may have to do some extra thinking. For example, one clue says: "Man in brown has a yard to match" the item he is looking for is a green water hose, which he will use to make his lawn green.
Once you figure out what each person wants, drag that person to the item that they need. If you guessed correctly the item will disappear and a dollar amount will appear above a person’s head.
If the item is incorrect, the person will start shaking their head. Keep trying until you can match them up correctly.
Each customer has a meter under their goal card , that meter represents how much time they are willing to spend in the yard sale. The shorter the meter is the less time they are willing to wait.
Once the meter starts turning yellow you need to mach them up as quickly as you can or they will leave the sale.
Use the mood ring at the top of the page if you need help making some matches.

GETTING TO KNOW THE CHARACTERS

You have to be able to find the people in the yard sale by the description that is shown to you in the game.
Most characters repeat quite often in the game which is good for you because it gives you a chance to familiarize yourself with the shoppers.
Here is a list of the majority of the customers and what they look like.
I did not list all of them because some of the names are quite self-explanatory.
There can be more than one description for the same character. At times there are also male and female versions of the same description.
80’s WANNABE-A lady that is wearing pink pants, a black top and a sweatband on her head.
ARTIST-A female that has a blue beret on her head and an artist palette in her hand.
BAD HAIR DAY-Lady with spiky purple hair.
BUSINESSMAN-Bald man in a gray suit, white shirt that is holding a briefcase in his hand.
CHATTY-Man with red jacket and dark pants that is holding an unusually large phone to his ear.
CHEF-A person dressed in a white outfit with a white chefs hat on their head.
CURLY-Man in a blue suit that has curly hair.
DETECTIVE-Sherlock Holmes look alike, large tan coat and has a magnifying glass in his hands.
DIRECTOR-man that has a blue baseball cap, blue pants and brown shirt, he also carries a bullhorn around with him.
DOTTY-Lady with white shirt and blue polka dots. She has and yellow pants that have blue polka dots all over them.
FLOWER CHILD-Lady with the retro outfit.
GRANDE DAME-The lady wearing a brown coat that has gray hair.
GREEN JEANS-Man with green jeans and a blue shirt.
JACKIE O-Lady in black dress, sunglasses and gray hair.
PICASS0-Man holding a paint palette with a black French beret.
REDHEAD-She has bright red hair and is wearing a yellow dress.
MISS MISMATCH-Woman wearing an outfit that does not match.
PHOTOGRAPHER/SHUTTERBUG-Man holding a camera around his neck.
SPEED DEMON-Lady with a yellow tank top and green shorts.
SPORTS NUT-Blue baseball cap, blue t-shirt and white shorts.
SURFER-Blonde hair, white t-shirt and blue shorts and sandals.
TREKKIE-Wearing a black and red Star Trek outfit
YOGI-Balding man with long gray hair in the back, he is wearing a white outfit and like to bow from time to time.

DISTRACTED SHOPPERS

When you see that a customer’s card has another card over it, it means that the customer is distracted and will not shop until you’ve solved their problem.
Read the instructions and look for the item in the scene that will help the customer.
Once you find the right item for them, they will ask for an item that they wish to purchase.

MOOD RING IN THE YARD SALE

If you need help making matches in the yard sale, click on the mood ring. It will highlight the square of the person that it is going to give you the hint for. Then it will highlight the item in the scene that a particular person needs.

SORTING MINI GAME

You will get to play this mini game after every few rounds. Your goal is to sort items that are on the shelf into a series of marked boxes.
The boxes will always be at the bottom of the scene. You have to pay attention to the label on the boxes so that you can place the right items inside of them.
Drag the items into the appropriate boxes and if it is in the right box, the item will go into the box.
If the item was in the wrong box, the item will return to where you found it originally.
This mini game helps you earn more money that you can use to decorate the rooms in the house. The more items you grab, the more money you will earn.

DECORATING YOUR ROOM

Every few levels or so you will be prompted to decorate any unlocked room that is available.
Click on any rook and then look at the goals tab that is on the top right side. It will give you hints on what you need to do in order to decorate your room so you can get a 5 star rating.
In order to decorate the room, you have to click on one of the squares that are on the left side of the page.
Choose the decoration that best suits the description listed in the goals tab. Place it in the room.
If you see a circle with a red line going through it, it means the piece is not in the right place. Keep moving it around until you get it right.
Once the item is in place you can rotate it by clicking on the green arrows. if you decide you don’t like the piece or no longer want it for whatever reason you can click on the red "X" and you will get a refund.
If you don’t have enough money to buy the things you need for the room, then click on "done" and it will take you back to the game. You will be able to return to that room at any time.
I decided not to decorate any rooms until the game was over. That allowed me to have plenty of money to buy the best items.
When you have the right items in the room, one of the stars will light up completely or partially. the ideal situation would be to have all them light up completely.
Once your room has received 5 stars you can continue to decorate it according to your taste.
