Evomon Volcrest [Strengths, Weaknesses, Location]

Wandering around the land of Raven Ridge, you can find the Flying Evomon, Volcrest. It’s one of the many hybrid Evomons in the game, combining two elemental types.

Evomon Volcrest

Volcrest is an Evomon which uses Flying- and Electric-type moves.

How to Get / Location

You can find Volcrest’s first evolution form, Bluebird, at Raven Ridge. There’s also a chance for Volcrests to roam around Raven Ridge.

When levelled up, you can evolve Bluebird into Volcrest. I’d recommend going straight for Volcrest if you can, but if you’re struggling to bring its HP down enough to catch it, levelling up Bluebird is another option.

The best and worst elements to use during battles with Volcrest, whether you’re fighting against one or using one on your current team.

Weak To:

When attacked by these elements, Volcrest takes 2x more damage.

Having Volcrest on your team when battling against Evomon, which uses any of these elements, means it’ll deal 2x more damage.

Volcrest takes 0.5x less damage when attacked by these elements.

Best Evomon Against Volcrest

Despite being an Electric-type hybrid Evomon, Volcrest is also weak to this element.

  • Element: Electric
• Boltonia [Single Evolution Line]
  • Element: Electric
• Chitmite Evolution Line [Chitgladi and Chitaladin]
  • Element: Bug
• Datunumph [Second form of Databud]
  • Element: Psychic
  • Datunymph also uses Grass-type moves, which Volcrest is strong against, and even has additional resistance to. However, as Datunymph uses the Psychic element, which deals more DMG to Volcrest, it’s a decent option
    • Its first form, Databud, only uses the Grass element, which is useless against Volcrest
• Fluffet Evolution Line [Fluffastar]
  • Element: Rock
• Frostelle [Second form of Stardrift]
  • Element: Ice
  • Frostelle also uses Grass-type moves, which Volcrest is strong against and has additional resistance to, but it’s the Ice element that Frostelle uses that Volcrest is weak to
    • Stardrift, the first form of Frostelle, only uses Grass-type moves, which are pointless when battling against Volcrest

  • Element: Ice
• Glaclide Evolution Line [Glacone and Glacitadel]
  • Element: Ice

Base Stats

The base stats of Volcrest, unaffected by anything else. Of course, this means the stats of your Volcrest have a high chance of being different.

Evolution

When it comes to evolution, Volcrest is the second and last in the Evolution Line for Bluebird. Volcrest shares the Flying element with Bluebird, but gains the Electric element upon evolution.

As Bluebird is a Flying-type Evomon, you need Flying Element Stones as well as Evolution Stones. Omni-Stones can also be used if you can’t get the right resources.

Bluebird

Similar to Volcrest, the same Evomon Evolution Lines are strong against Bluebird [Electric], such as Arcub, Frostlet [Ice], and Glaclide [Ice].
