Before you catch an Evomon Shiny Bluebird, or its regular variant, it’s best to learn about its strengths and weaknesses. I also recommend getting familiar with which Evomon work best against Bluebird, so you know which to avoid if you’ve got one on your team.

The reason why many players want a Bluebird is that it evolves into, arguably, one of the strongest Evomon: Volcrest. I’ve written a guide focusing on Volcrest in Evomon, detailing everything you need to know, including an alternative obtainment method.

Evomon Shiny Bluebird

All about Bluebird and its Shiny variant. Bluebird is a Flying-type Evomon and is the first form in its Evolution Line, evolving into Volcrest, one of the best Evomon in the game.

How to Get Bluebird

To obtain Bluebird, you need to visit Raven Ridge on the map. Here, you can find Bluebirds roaming around freely, which you can catch with any of the Balls you have in your inventory.

How to Get a Shiny Bluebird

Like all other Shiny variants in Evomon, you have to rely on RNG. The Shiny Bluebird has a different colour scheme, changing its main colour to a light blue, with teal and yellow details.

Best Evomon Against Bluebird

If you’re anticipating a battle against Bluebird, make sure to bring these Evomon along.

  • Arcub Evolution Line [Arcapex]
    • Element: Electric
  • Boltonia
    • Element: Electric
  • Chitaladin
    • Element: Poison
    • Chitaladin also uses the Bug Element, which Bluebird is strong against and has extra resistance to
    • The two previous Evolution forms, Chitmite and Chitgladi, both use the Bug Element and not the Poison Element, so they are useless against Bluebird
  • Datubud Evolution Line [Datunymph]
    • Element: Psychic
    • Datubud and Datunymph also both use the Grass Element, which Bluebird is strong against and has resistance to, making it useless in combat
  • Frostelle
    • Element: Ice
    • Frostelle and its first form, Stardrift, both use the Grass Element, which Bluebird is resistant to
  • Frostlet Evolution Line [Frostseer]
    • Element: Ice
  • Glaclide Evolution Line [Glacone and Glacitadel]
    • Element: Ice
  • Starloop Evolution Line [Starmuse]
    • Element: Psychic

Evolution

Bluebird evolves into Volcrest, one of the best Evomon in the entire game. The main goal with Bluebird is to level it up enough to evolve it as soon as possible with the required resources.

This is because Volcrest is a hybrid Evomon, which uses both the Electric and Flying Elements, making it an incredibly strong addition to any team. Bluebird uses just the Flying Element, though, and only unlocks Electric moves once it evolves into Volcrest.

To evolve Bluebird, you need Evolution Stones and Flying Element Stones, but you can use Omni-Stones as a replacement if you’re missing anything.
