For players wanting a decent Bug-type on their team, look no further than the Evomon Gempress. Part of a small Evolution Line in Evomon, Gempress boasts impressive stats with a sole focus on dealing elemental Bug DMG.

One of the best Evomon to use against Gempress is Volcrest, a Flying-type. As for the Evomon that Gempress is strong against, Tarragon is a pretty good example, as it’s weak to the Bug element.

How to Get Gempress

Gempress is the second evolution of Gempillar. The latter is located at Canyon Oasis and turns into Gempress once evolved. As usual, you’ll need Evolution Stones and Element Stones, unless you have some spare Omni-Stones to make up for any missing resources.

However, you can also find Gempress at Canyon Oasis, often roaming around close to Gempillars. Catching a Gempress in the wild means you don’t have to use any of your Evolution resources and saves time, as you don’t need to farm levels.
