Evomon Best Teams [Tips and Tricks]
For all game modes.

To create the Best Teams in Evomon, you need to keep elements in mind, as well as the overall stats of each creature. Try catching Evomon that are S-rank or above.
A good place to start when assembling a team is my Evomon Tier List, which ranks all of the Dex from best to worst.
Evomon Best Teams
While there certainly is a ‘meta’ in Evomon, it’s a good idea to know what goes into creating the best teams, other than simply collecting the ‘best’ creatures.
There are various battles to take part in, such as PvP, boss fights, the tower, dungeons, and challenges. All of these game modes determine which team you’re taking into battle, as some are better in PvP fights, and others work best when grinding for materials in the open world.
Elements
The most obvious point is to take elements into account. The team you use against specific enemies, including bosses, should include Evomon that use elements that the foe is weak against.
Keeping the elements they’re strong against, or have extra resistance to, is also an important factor to keep in mind. Find out which elements to use against Evomon Bosses in my other guide.
If your team is powerful enough, focusing on elements isn’t always necessary, but it does give you the upper hand during battles. Using elemental moves that the enemy is weak against speeds the battle up and ensures your victory. Without the extra resistance, enemies can still have their HP depleted if you use an element they’re strong against, albeit a lot slower.
I go over the different element types and what their strengths and weaknesses are in my Evomon Types guide.
Levelling
Another thing to remember when building a team is making sure all of your Evomon are levelled up. Hitting the level cap is the goal, of course, but ensuring their levels are higher than the enemy you’re about to fight against more or less guarantees victory.
Levelling up your Evomon is easy, as they passively earn EXP after battles, as long as they are in your team. There are also Fruits you can feed to your Evomon, granting them some extra EXP.
For example, Small EXP Fruit provides 100 EXP, Medium EXP Fruit provides 1K EXP, and Large EXP Fruit provides 10K EXP. The higher an Evomon’s level, the stronger they are. Taking a level 10 Evomon into a level 30 fight isn’t exactly going to work out.
Your player level is separate from the levels of your Evomon, though you are required to Ascend to raise the level cap for both you and your Evomon.
Evolutions
The best Evomons are usually those which have been evolved. The third form of an Evomon is much stronger than its first or second form.
That’s why I recommend evolving your best Evomon as quickly as possible, though you’ll need Element Stones and Evolution Stones. You also can’t evolve Evomon if they haven’t reached the required level. If you’re not sure how to evolve your Evomon, take a look at our How to Get Evolution Stones walkthrough.
