Elder Scrolls: Blades simplifies the usual armour system from the console and PC entries in the franchise. Rather than have Light, Medium, Heavy, and Robes for casters, this just has Light and Heavy.
Light is designed around bonus statistics, so if you like to unleash skills with reckless abandon, gain resistances to certain damage types, and more, this is the style for you. However, you’ll want to be careful as it provides considerably less defence than Heavy armour.
That’s the sole benefit of the Heavy style though: it offers considerably more defence. You’ll gain no bonus for Stamina regeneration though, so you’ll want to rely on standard attacks more to unleash damage.
