Much like in Dark Souls, which clearly inspired this Roblox game, you can choose from a variety of Dystovia starter gifts to help you in your adventure. In this guide, I’m going to round up all of the gifts that you can choose from to try and help you choose the right one for you. What’s more, I’ll update this guide whenever a new starter gift arrives or anything changes.

Dystovia is a hardcore Roblox RPG that plays an awful lot like Dark Souls. You explore a wide open world, alone or with friends, as you strive to simply survive. Well, your real goal is to grow in power and improve your swordsmanship. There’s a wide variety of areas to explore, secrets to find, and objectives to accomplish.

Dystovia Starter Gifts

Now, let’s take a look at the Dystovia starter gifts that you can choose from, complete with their effects.

Nothing

You can actually choose to start Dystovia without a starter gift, which provides you with zero benefits during the early phases of the game. There’s no reward for this, other than the sense of satisfaction you receive from progressing without help.

• Effect: None

Hasten Cape

The Hasten Cape increases your speed, in addition to looking awesome. It’s Soul Bound, so you can’t sell it.

• Effect: Increases Agility

Fortify Necklace

The Fortify Necklace is the choice for those of you that want to take less damage, or be a tank. Again, it’s Soul Bound, so you’re stuck with it if you choose this option.

• Effect: Increases Sturdiness

Regen Ring

As the name suggests, this starter gift provides you with regen, which is a form of passive healing.

• Effect: Provides HP Regeneration

Life Fruit

This isn’t an equippable item, and is instead just provides passive boost to your maximum HP. It’s permanent, so will benefit you at all stages of the game.

• Effect: Increases Maximum HP

What’s the Best Dystovia Starter Gift?

So, in my humble opinion, I think the absolute best starter gift is the Life Fruit. Hear me out. While additional speed, defense, and regeneration are absolutely nice, you might actually want to replace one of those gear slots later in the game. The only item you can’t replace, and remains effective throughout every phase of the game, is the Life Fruit.

However, go with the one that you like the most. At the end of the day, they’re all effective options aside from choosing nothing.
