Has the Dungeonborne Bounty Hunter confusion piqued your interest? I answer your questions in this guide, as well as detailing some tips to follow when completing the task.

Dungeonborne is a fantasy RPG dungeon crawler that features a variety of classes to experiment with. Whether you choose to take part in PvE or PvP, there’s a class for everyone! Prefer tank classes? Sorted. Enjoy being a long-ranged caster? You’ll find a few of those too. Make your way through dungeons in first-person as you search high and low for treasures and artifacts, all the while fending off enemies with your spells and weapons.

To try out the Dungeonborne demo, visit the game’s official Steam page. Not sure if you’ll enjoy the game? Read our Dungeonborne Classes guide to find out more and take a look at our Dungeonborne Tier List that ranks all the classes!

Dungeonborne Bounty Hunter

If you’re wondering what that Bounty Hunter level was, then you’ll be glad to know that you’ve already completed the required task. Many players are confused as to what it means as they spot that it has levelled up. The game isn’t overly clear about what ‘Bounty Hunter’ is in the first place. If you’re new to the game/demo, you might not have clicked on the Event tab via the lobby yet!

Pest Bounty

Head to that tab and take a look through the Event content. There’s a certain task called “Pest Bounty”, which is a quest that requires you to defeat 80 of the 6-legged green creatures. You’ve probably battled against them already, but just didn’t realise that they were actually important! At least, this is the case for a lot of other players.

Once you defeat all 80 of the green creatures, you’ll complete the Pest Bounty event task. This is when you receive the Bounty Hunter 1 to 2 pop-up! So, that explains the mystery, but how do you farm these pesky pests? According to players, the best strategy is to repeat the 3s map. Apparently, the creatures spawn on this map more than the others. Additionally, the reward for Pest Bounty is a limited-time Legendary Potion Skin, which can only be obtained by taking part in the demo.

I also recommend using the Rogue class for this mission, as you can easily make your way to the spawn point with the increased mobility. Don’t worry too much about the gear you’re using – you don’t need top-grade equipment for this one. Keep in mind that some players are experiencing a bug while trying to complete Pest Bounty, as some kills aren’t being added to the kill count.
