Dungelot: Shattered Lands is the third entry in the Dungelot series of roguelikes. The latest entry is one of the toughest mobile games I’ve come across. With some strategic thinking, skill, and a large heaping of good, old-fashioned luck, players will be able to make their way through the game’s challenging dungeons.

Lanterns are your best friend in Dungelot: Shattered Lands. By using a lantern, all the enemies in that level are revealed, allowing players to (hopefully) easily navigate their way around the enemy positions.
There is the rare chance that enemies will be positioned in a box around your starting location, but at least you’ll know where they are so you can break through and get to the rest of the dungeon.
After every 5 levels in a dungeon, Dungelot: Shattered Lands gives players the opportunity to buy some items from a goblin. If you know you’re going to die in the next few levels, don’t waste your gold. A handful of throwing knives and bombs isn’t going to really make much of a difference when you’re walking around with 5HP. At that point, your gold is far more useful in your pocket than a handful of weak weaponry.
The gold you will save can be put towards one of two things: your next major equipment upgrade (which should be a prime focus) or extra change to utilize during a dungeon run that is going more favorably than your current one.
Don’t refrain from poking things in Dungelot. If it’s not a snarling enemy there is a good chance that you might find some extra pieces of gold.
Some places I found a bit of extra gold include the crates in the goblin’s shop and the rocks outside the dungeon’s entrance on the world hub. Poke everything, it can’t hurt (unless it’s an enemy!) and that little bit of gold adds up over time.
Also, poke the little rat that runs around the dungeon’s edge.
By activating the shrine outside of the dungeon entrance, players can power up their hero. The shrines only work for a limited number of times so pay attention to what each power buff does and choose accordingly.
The blessings only work for the very next dungeon run, and cost a bit of gold to boot.
As you loot your way through Dungelot: Shattered Lands your inventory will inevitably fill up. Try not to leave items behind. You can salvage excess items to make room for something that just dropped. By salvaging items you’ll charge up your power bar, making your hero’s special abilities more potent.
