It’s a crucial thing to consider when you’re building a team. If you know the elements of upcoming enemies, you can create a team that counters them well.
Once you know which characters wield which elements, and those that are weak or strong against each other, assembling a powerful team will come naturally.
Elements have weaknesses to other element types. When an element is weak to another element, the character takes more DMG. So, for example, if a Pyro character attacks a Hydro character, the Hydro character will take more DMG than usual. For a Hydro character, they need to battle against an Electro character to deal more DMG.
