Dragon Nest 2 Evolution Classes Guide

Let’s take a closer look at each class in the MMO title.

Warrior

Warrior’s fall under the tank role as they can hit hard whilst still maintaining high defense. This class deals melee damage and is brilliant with crowd control during combat.

The Good

  • High defense
  • Excellent at crowd control
  • Strong melee DPS as well as AoE damage

The Bad

  • Purely melee, with no ranged abilities, meaning you’ll have to get right into the danger zone
  • Reduced maneuverability

Cleric

If you enjoy keeping your party healthy whilst providing supportive abilities, Cleric is the one for you. It’s a great healing class, but it also has strong melee and tanking capabilities when needed.

The Good

  • Strong defense
  • Deals AoE damage
  • Lots of CC

The Bad

  • Lack of ranged attacks

Sorceress

If ranged combat sounds appealing to you, but you also want to cast magic, Sorceress is a fantastic choice. It provides ranged attacks that deal AoE damage, making them an extremely handy addition to a team.

The Good

  • Strong AoE attacks
  • High DPS
  • Ranged

The Bad

  • Defense is a little weak
  • Reduced maneuverability
  • Reduced CC

Archer

The Archer class is a great pick for those who enjoy ranged combat. You can stay out of way whilst firing arrows, what’s not to love?

The Good

  • Range of attack is large
  • Excellent maneuverability
  • High DPS

The Bad

  • Overall defense is pretty low
  • No AoE damage
  • Reduced CC

Best Classes

My top pick for the best classes in Dragon Nest 2 Evolution at the moment is the Cleric and Archer. Both offer something different, with Cleric being a fantastic support with tanking and healing capabilities – it’s got the best of both worlds! Archer is a great choice for those who are new to the series, and with high maneuverability, strong DPS, and a focus on ranged attacks, you can’t go wrong.

This isn’t to say the other classes aren’t good though. Sorceress is another contender, but the lack of defense makes me lean a little more toward Cleric and Archer at this current time. I recommend trying out all of the classes at some point to see which suits your play style the best!

Class Roles

  • DPS – Classes that focus on dealing melee/ranged damage

    • Sorceress
    • Archer
  • Tank – Classes that focus on high defense, max HP, and DPS
    • Warrior and Cleric
  • Support – Classes that offer healing and supportive abilities to keep the party safe
    • Cleric
