Can’t find any Doors Petals? You need to collect at least eight of them so that you can obtain the Lotus Flower from Grampy in Doors. While these flowers are harmless, there’s the giant World Lotus, which is the main antagonist of the Outdoors.

Collect petals to get a Lotus Flower!

How to Get Lotus Petals

As you explore the Outdoors, you need to keep your eye out for Lotus Petals. You can mainly find them in containers that you randomly come across, crypts that you must unlock with a key, and on the ground.

The keys can be found similarly, as you can spot them throughout the same room as the crypt. It’s important to note that the keys usually do not spawn in a room that does not have a crypt, but it’s not uncommon.

Once you have a key, or multiple keys, you can open the crypt to find the Lotus Petals! The easiest way of obtaining them is by checking the floor in every room and looking out for containers.

Lotus Flower

With a total of 8 Lotus Petals, you can obtain the Lotus Flower. But you have to give these Lotus Petals to the Grampy NPC. It’s difficult to say whether or not Grampy is an entity or not, but he’s certainly not hostile.

The Lotus Flower is an item that you can place on the ground. It then sprouts and turns into a flower, which can revive you. When you use the Lotus Flower in your inventory after your defeat, you automatically teleport to the location where you first placed it.

There can be multiple Lotus Flowers placed on the ground, which is especially useful if you’re in a full party. Plus, whatever you had in your inventory when you were defeated, is then added back to your inventory when you revive!
