Health is one of the most important stats in Doglife: Bitlife Dogs, because when it runs out, you’re going to die. There are a few ways you can regain your health, and we’re going to look at them all in this guide.

While you’re here, make sure you check out our other Doglife: Bitlife Dogs guides. This one’s about all the achievements in the game and how to get them, and this one tells you how you can gain respect.

Whether you’re new to Doglife: Bitlife Dogs or you’ve already lived a few doggy lives, you’re going to find something to help you out here. So here we go – this is how to gain health in Doglife: Bitlife Dogs.

Play

Every age, you can use play to gain some health. You’ll find it in the Activities menu. You can only use play once per age bracket to increase your health – skip to the next age and you’ll be able to do it again.

Bear in mind that if you’re in the pound, the play option isn’t open to you, so you’re going to have to use one of the other suggestions on this list if you want to get healthier.

Tricks

Practising a trick will also get you some extra health. You’ll find the tricks option in the activities menu as well. Again, this will only work once per age bracket – not once per trick, either.

If you’ve paid for Top Dog, then you’ll be able to access a trick practice instantly. If you haven’t, you’re going to have to watch a video to do it.

Act Sick

You can use this one if you’re in the pound or in a home. Tap the household menu at the far left of the menu options (it’ll be marked as pound if you’re in the shelter, but it’ll be in the same place), and select one of your owners or carers.

If the act sick option is available, it’ll be at the top of the activities. Tap on it and if it works, you’ll be taken to the vets, which should increase your health.

Boost

Sometimes you’ll get a chance to boost your health. This appears at random in your stats breakdown, and there doesn’t seem to be a way to make it appear any more regularly.

If you’ve got Top Dog, the boost will be free, if not you’ll have to watch a video to get it. It’s a useful thing to know, so keep an eye out for it appearing and use it when you get the chance.
