Game Introduction – Disney Hidden Worlds
Disney Hidden Worlds is a hidden object game created by Disney. Disney Hidden Worlds challenges players to find specific objects in static images taken directly from Disney movies like Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, and Tangled. New scenes are opened up with the aid of the “Inklings” once you locate bottles of ink and other objects and items. Gamezebo’s quick start strategy guide will provide you with detailed images, tips, information, and hints on how get into every crevice of Disney World.
Quick Start Guide
Getting Started
- Disney Hidden Worlds is free to play. You can access the game by clicking the “Play Now!” button at the top of this page.
- When you load up Disney Hidden Worlds for the first time, you’ll be asked if you want to receive push notifications. You can change this setting at any time.
- A story scene and a tutorial play out to set the scene and teach you the basics.
- Once you understand what you’re supposed to do, you’re allowed to search at your own leisure.
How to Play
- Objective – Disney Hidden Worlds revolves around hidden object scenes – static images filled with items you’re supposed to locate. In this instance, the hidden object scenes are based on stills from famous Disney movies. The game’s narrative follows a young woman named Chrona who’s trying to rescue Disney’s beloved classics from the ravages of an ink-being.
- Fuel – Every time you engage in a hidden object scene via the map screen, it requires a certain amount of “fuel.” When your fuel runs out, you need to replenish it with gems (the game’s purchasable hard currency) or wait for it to recharge automatically.
- Quests – If you’re ever unsure of what you need to do next, access the icons on the left-hand side of the screen. These quests will tell you what needs to be done, and should help set you back on track.
- Options – To adjust Disney Hidden Worlds‘ options, tap the gear-shaped icon located at the upper right-hand corner of any map screen. From here you can access sound levels, sign into social media like Facebook, or access technical support.
- Gems – Gems can be used to instantly complete tasks that typically require time to complete, like crafting new items or waiting for your fuel to refill.
Look Hard
- What Needs to be Found – At the top of each hidden object scene, there’s a list of the objects you need to find. The names disappear as you find them.
- Click or Tap – Depending on the interface you’re using (web or mobile), click or tap on an object to “find” it. It vanishes from the scene once it’s found.
- Divide the Scene – Enlarge the scene or pinch and zoom to divide it into quadrants, each with its own list of things to find. This makes the hunt-and-find process easier.
- Need a Hint? – Use the magnifying glass in the top-left corner of the screen to highlight a random object that needs to be found.
Meet the Inklings
- Find Ink Jars and Items – Opening up some scenes requires you to find ink jars or certain items from hidden object scenes you’ve already opened. Pay attention before selecting a hidden object scene: It’s indicated what kind of ink and items you can potentially find on the level. It may take more than one attempt. You “find” the ink and items automatically as you play through the scene.
- Craft Items – Sometimes the ink and items you need to find in order to progress can’t be found; instead, they must be crafted by combining two or more items. Crafting takes time unless you speed up the process using gems.
- Open Up New Scenes – Crafting and/or finding items or ink opens up new hidden object scenes within a single scenario (movie). More movies are opened up as you progress through the game’s story.
- Upgrade Scenes – Use items and ink to upgrade hidden object scenes. Doing so allows you to play the scenes for a smaller amount of fuel.
Social
- Friends – Invite friends to play Disney Hidden Worlds with you via Facebook, Game Center, or the in-game community. You can send messages to friends, share gifts like fuel boosts (which let you play longer), or have them take some time off any crafting projects you may have in the queue. Simply visit the “Friends” tab in the Friends Message Center and select “Speed Craft.”
- Facebook – Invite friends to play with you over Facebook. When you sign in, the game will ask permission to post on your wall. You can accept or decline as you see fit.
Tips
- Join Your Accounts – If you sign into Disney Hidden Worlds via Facebook, you can switch between playing the game on mobile and Facebook.
- Divide the Screen – Having a hard time seeing objects? Zoom in and play hidden object scenes in quadrants. The list of objects that need finding will slim down according to what can be found in that particular corner of the screen. This is also a good option if you’re playing on a small-screen device.
- Repeat Scenes – When you play a hidden object scene, you slowly fill up stars. When a star is filled, it’s “mastered.” Since many of the game’s quests call on you to master scenes anyway, it’s not a bad idea to play hidden object scenes twice in a row, provided you have the fuel to spare. That way, it’s easier to remember where everything is. The more quickly you complete a scene, the more points you score, and the more the level’s stars fill up.
