There are a myriad of bosses to defeat in Activision Blizzard’s new action MMORPG. In this guide though, we’re focusing on the Diablo Immortal Hydra and Golem. These two terrifying monsters feature the same summon method, and are very rewarding for those brave enough to defeat them.

In this guide, we’re going to help you do just that. We’ll detail exactly how to summon the two monsters, what to expect when fighting them, and we’ll go through the rewards you can get for doing so. By the end, you’ll be an absolute master.

If you’re a fan of Diablo Immortal, we’ve got plenty more where that came from. Check out our complete Diablo Immortal guide, our list of every Diablo Immortal character, the infamous Diablo Immortal unable to authenticate with Battle.net error fixed, and steps on how to play Diablo Immortal PC. What Are the Diablo Immortal Hydra and Golem?

As we detailed in the opening paragraph, the Fleshcraft Hydra and Sandstone Golem are two bosses you can encounter in Diablo Immortal. You can’t just run up and start hitting them though, as you have to summon them first.

How do I Summon the Hydra and Golem?

The method you use to summon the Fleshcraft Hydra and Sandstone Golem is identical, which keeps things nice and simple. All you have to do is head to the Library of Zoltun Kulle, search for ‘Lost Pages’, and then use them to create a ‘Portal Tome’.

At this point, you use the Portal Tome to summon one of the two bosses at random. It’s always at random, sadly. There’s nothing you can do to ensure that one of the two bosses appears.

Where Can I Find Diablo Immortal Lost Pages?

You can locate these in the Library of Zoltun Kulle, where they are scattered about at random. They look like piles of paper that you can interact with.

Where do the Hydra and Golem Appear?

If you summoned the Fleshcraft Hydra, head on over to the ‘Writhing Ingress’ waypoint and run to the nearby circular room. If it’s the Sandstone Golem, go to the ‘Hidden Alcove’ waypoint, and head to the chamber just to the northeast.

Can Other Players Summon These Bosses?

Absolutely. Any player within the zone that has found the five lost pages and used the Portal Tome can summon a boss. The good news is, you aren’t ruled out from defeating the boss. You get a notification on your screen when a boss spawns, and you can charge on over to the above area depending on the boss. If you make it in time to deal some damage, you’ll get rewards like usual.

What Are the Rewards For Defeating the Hydra and Golem?

Much like any activity in Diablo Immortal, the rewards are largely random for defeating the Fleshcraft Hydra and Sandstone Golem. You’ll get XP, gold, equipment, and Enchanted Dust. That’s the item you can use to upgrade your gear.
