So where to first?
This camp is the main starting point in your story. When you spawn in you will want to follow the path which takes you to this camp. Here you will be introduced to the game mechanics with your first quest prompted by Blacksmith Gideon.
Heading West from Gideon’s Camp upon completing his quests, you will run into another NPC who requests that you handle the bandits at a camp behind him. In our Derelict Guide For Beginners, we covered how best to tackle these bandits so be sure to have a read!
This is essentially your first dungeon battle. You’ll notice a fog surrounding the entrance which will clear off upon completion of the dungeon. The enemies here are just a tad stronger than the bandits, however, it’s recommended you grind to kit up a little before heading in, as in dungeon battles enemies and the environmental factors are your foes.
You can see the bridge entrance from Gideon’s Camp by looking West / North-West.
This is one of the main areas of Derelict. Here you can mine Iron and obtain other necessary recourses and materials for game progression. The Salt Caves, located under the Ribcage is where you can find Iron.
Following the path from the Feeding Grounds Bonsai, stick to the right side of the ribcage without going downhill. Upon reaching the end of the ribcage you can continue North towards the Stronghold.
The entrance here is guarded by 3 enemies, Be careful as the gunner has high damage!
The Coal Mine is self-explanatory, under the arch head left and you’ll soon find it. Be cautious as enemies obstruct your path.
Hollow’s pass is the entrance to the Hollow area found directly after the Subjugation Stronghold.
Here you can obtain Tough Leather and Rogue Hide from looting chests and defeating bandits. You’ll find this den right after the Hollow’s Pass Bonsai.
Here lies the main base for one of the game bosses, the Avarus Captain. This boss will drop Plasma Cores needed to craft Coldsteel items. To get to him you’ll need to take down his team of Avarus Swordsmen, Gunners, and Dagger Users.
Heading East from Hollow’s Arch you will find Hollow’s Outback.
Heading down Hollow’s Outback, take the first left path then at the plant on the right side of the path which you can use as a landmark, take the right deviation to reach Barons Tavern where you will find your next quest.
The main pathway from Hollow’s Outback will lead you to Weeping Grove. The bonsai is located past the first enemy camp.
Past the Weeping Grove Bonsai face South and you’ll spot the tower. Before you are granted access you’ll have to defeat a boss, Asher.
Once again, from the Weeping Grove bonsai travel East until you see the Weeping Cave Bonsai. Entering the cave and following the path for a little will lead you to the Silver Ore deposits.
Here the higher-level players can obtain Soul Shards and Fungi. Reached by starting from Fort Hollow and heading straight past it on the path forward.
Currently, this place is a WIP and not intended for you to enter. From Barons Tavern, head towards the Reverie Cemetery and follow the path to the left passing the church.
Beginning at Gideons Camp, head towards the city of Monte Sant’Angelo. Follow the dirt path and it will eventually lead you to the Field of Demise.
