Thunder God is based on no other than Enel, the Thunder fruit eater who ruled over Skypiea as a faux god. (In canon lore anyway). In Demon Piece, you can find Thunder God at the angelic island of Skypiea (Level 315-600). At the time of writing, Enel and Skypiea dual as the highest boss and island level in the game.
Enel has a spawn cooldown of 10 minutes, meaning you’ll have to hang around for some time if you’re grinding him for rewards. When in combat, Thunder God wields shocking power (get it?), striking players with close and long-range thunder moves and dealing huge damage. This boss enjoys a tanky 40,000 HP, so I’d recommend bringing a small party to take him down unless you’re max level with a reliable fighting style, Haki, etc.
Thankfully, Skypiea has plenty of Quest NPCs if you need to bulk out some levels before taking on Enel, guiding you through levels 315-600.
