Demon Piece Soru

Soru is an ability that you can unlock that allows you to teleport the location of your mouse when pressing R on your keyboard. It’s great to use alongside your Geppo ability, which can speed up your travel time when on land. Or, you can use Soru in battle, to dodge attacks.

How to Obtain Soru

While a quest takes you directly to the obtainment of the Soru ability, you must unlock said quest first! To get this quest, you need to find the Rayleigh NPC, who stands with his arms crossed in Arlong Park. I recommend you reach level 240 at the minimum before you head out to find him, as the Arlong Park island features level 240+ enemies.

Once you find Rayleigh, he will ask you to deliver a letter to a student in Skypiea – one of his own students at that. If you do this for Rayleigh, he’ll be happy to give you a special talent in return. This ‘special talent’ is Soru! Although, it’s important to note that Rayleigh then asks for 100K Beli to actually unlock the ability once you’ve done the quest.

When you’re in Arlong Park, look for the tall building with the shark statue on top. Head to the hills that stand behind this building, and look behind the top part of the hill to find Rayleigh. After accepting the quest, head to Skypiea, deliver the letter and make your way back to Rayleigh in Arlong Park.
